"Stayed here as a couple, so only needed to use the ground floor.Great welcome from the Dutch owners who speak excellent English. Spacious accommodation at a peaceful location in a lesser known part of France. Can't fault the property, loved having a games room and sole use of a pool. Short drive to Sauveterre which is lovely, Atlantic coast under an hour's drive, likewise Pyrenees and Spain.Big thunderstorm meant the river was too fast and brown for swimming. It's fast and rocky by the property, much easier to swim at Sauveterre. We'd happily return to La Fontaine."
