"We loved our stay here. The property was comfortable and well appointed with everything we needed, but the location is really what it is all about! Fabulous sea and cliff views, great walking, and a perfect spot to explore the Seven Sisters. We were staying to run the Beachy Head marathon nearby but would happily return to explore the area more. "If you want to get away from it all & enjoy the peace of the Sussex countryside the Cart Lodge is perfect. Great little cottage, which is well equipped & in a good location to explore East Sussex. The sheep in the field are great fun, demanding their biscuits as you sit & enjoy the sun. Thanks Nina for a great week"

"A fantastic place to stay. The location was perfect, country walks from the doorstep and the coast 9 miles away. A small shop a few miles away and a pub within a mile. Woodpeckers is clean and very comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you would need. The enclosed garden was a bonus. Sitting in the conservatory looking across the countryside was calm and peaceful. Overall a great place. We would definitely return and recommend."

"Cedar Lodge was exactly what we were looking for and we felt at home as soon as we arrived. The accommodation was clean, cosy and very well equipped and the hosts Caroline and Neil were very welcoming. The comments in the visitors book showed that many people have visited here several times and feel itâ€™s the best holiday home they have stayed in. The location is very quiet and the view from the deck is beautiful. I wouldnâ€™t hesitate to stay here again if we are visiting the area."

"Had an absolutely amazing stay at this property. Sid ( our Labrador ) had the time of his life. The photos are accurate. It far exceeded our expectations especially with being dog friendly. Will definitely be booking again. Walking distance to the beach, pub, chip shop and kebab/pizza shop. Short drive to a couple of restaurants. We tried the Conquerers March had a really lovely meal there and the staff were really friendly and went the extra mile especially Dawn."

"We stayed here for a weekend, to attend a wedding nearby - two adults and two children (aged 5 & 9). The configuration of the apartment was perfect: there are two double beds on the top floor, all kind of in the same room but separated by a wall (it makes sense once you see it), which was perfect for us. "The View Hotel has fantastic seafront rooms which make the most of the view along the promenade from the pier along to the start of the South Downs. The room was clean and comfortable and in the morning the breakfast was very well set out for an efficient start to the day."
