A great surprise for us was the path, just at the end of the garden, who takes you on a beautiful trip around the mountain. There is other great trails further up the mountain (starts 10 min. away in car), with spectacular views. We used it for skiing, and tried Cervina, Valtournence, Thorgnon and Chamois. "It was very well located, clean, well equipped, warm and quiet. Lovely sunny open plan living space. The spiral staircase is steep and narrow - worth noting (but not an issue for us). Martijn was incredibly helpful and responsive. We arrived (as planned) at 4pm and our accommodation wasn’t ready which was frustrating after a very early start/long journey. A big bunch of unmarked keys took a bit of getting used to. we would highly recommend the property."

"The pictures do not do this place justice. From the moment you walk in you feel at home and welcomed. Whether that’s from the rock collection, or various family accolades through out. There is plenty of space for a family and the train and bus being just a 1 minute (if that) walk is even better. If I ever make it chamonix again I will be staying here"

"We were 2 families. Plenty of space and everything was looked after and clean. The host was really helpful and kind. We were a short distance from the town which was very quaint and felt untouched by tourists. We also had a row of shops and amenities 2 minutes drive in the car. "Vue imprenable sur les montagnes et les vallées. Chalet très bien agencé, tout était prévu pour un séjour inoubliable. Il faut dire que nous avons eu un temps magnifique, ensoleillé tout le séjour. La description de l'annonce est en-dessous de la réalité."

"Nice and welcoming house, kind and proactive owner. Unluckily we found this house in a hurry as a concequence of the cancellation of the previoulsy booked one in La Salle. The insurance I paid for the first house booked was not refunded yet."

"Nous avons ete surpris par le fait que le studio avec 2 couchages n'était pas connecte au reste du chalet, ce qui nest jamais indique dans l'annonce. De plus, la cuisine n'est pas équipée pour cuisiner pour 11 personnes, sans parler du lave vaisselle et des nombreuses ampoules en panne. Le menage est succinct. La literie aussi. Points positifs: chalet rustique et authentique, facilité d'acces et tout proche des pistes (les Houches) en moins de 5 minutes en auto."

"Lovely property and Marco was superb (and helpful with dog walk recommendations). The house is on the first floor with parking a bit away from the house so if you have lots of luggage take note! Also, the fenced garden is away from the house…down the stairs and through the communal area to get to-no sipping a glass of wine with the back door open and the dogs playing-you’ll have to take all your bits with you.
