"Loved everything about The Moat House; the house and grounds were lovely, the room had everything we needed, the food, the breakfast, bar snack and evening meal where perfect and the staff couldn't have been more pleasant.What we loved the most was all the little places you could find to just sit outside, beside the water and also that for breakfast and evening meal you were looking out onto water again.
We will definitely come again and highly recommend it. Thankyou for our stay."
"I strongly disagree with a a method of rating that rates 8-10 as good to excellent and 1-7 as poor. Think of your staff and how you can make their experience and expectations better over customers who will stay 1-2 nights and can complain about the thing and it’s probably been the best sleep and breakfast they’ve had in a long time. Think about your staff in the strange rating culture that we live in, please!"
"Elaine over provided a wonderful breakfast and was helpful with giving us info on the area. When a canal ride was oversold she personally drove there to attain tickets. Property was beautiful and presents pastoral England as we pictured it. I highly recommend this property"
"A very pleasant stay - stayed for a couple of nights whilst working in the area. All staff were very pleasant. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The hotel is in a very quiet area with lots of scenic countryside around to see.
Just be aware that the rooms are on the 3rd floor and there are only stairs for access, but that is to be expected with a listed building."
"Had a lovely nights stay - very comfortable bed, lovely size room with everything we could want. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, fresh fruits and lots of biscuit in the room which was extremely clean.
Had a great welcoming from the owners on arrival with freshly baked flap jacks and lots of local knowledge shared.
A book regarding the building was also an interesting read.
We had breakfast (optional) which consisted of lots cold options, fresh fruits, juices cereals etc. Then a full range for any...

"Hotels.com with the hotel have some payment issue. When I check in the hotel front desk staff said that i need to pay for this trip, however, I already fully paid when i booked the hotel. After check and clarified she confirmed already received my payment. And I called to Hotel.com the staff request me to pay again for the hotel and refund my previous payment with Hotel.com due to some payment issue between Hotel.com and the Hotel. But is it the issue of customer why i have to do that.
