"This property is the perfect place for a couples getaway when you want to bring your pup. We took our two small terriers with us, who can be anxious but they were relaxed and happy here.We loved the private courtyard, comfortable bed, clean modern shower/ laundry and short stroll on a level footpath to the shops, restaurants and beach/ esplanade. Our host was available for messaging and we had everything needed for our stay. Loved our time here and taking the pups on the ferry to Palm Beach. Hope to return soon!"

"We really enjoyed our stay at Ettalong Beach Tourist Resort. The resort is beautiful, with a lovely design and atmosphere. Our room was very comfortable and a good size for three people. We especially loved the balcony, which made the room feel very pleasant, and the air conditioning worked very well. One disappointment was the lack of a general lift. The only lift seemed to be for guests with accessibility needs. I completely understand the need for an accessible lift, but having at least one lift for general guests would be helpful, especially for people arriving with luggage. The pool was also extremely cold and basically unusable. We had been warned it was cold, but it was much colder than expected, and several children were visibly shivering. The spa was not working either and was also very cold. Interestingly, the ocean was much warmer that same day. We loved the Galleria downstairs. There is a great variety of restaurants, cafés and interesting shops, and we spent most of a rainy day there without getting bored. However, many shops closed around 2–3 pm. We were also very surprised that on Monday morning absolutely everything in the Galleria was closed, including restaurants, cafés, the bakery, ice cream shop and shops. Reception told us most venues close during weekdays and mainly open on weekends. This wasn’t clear on the website and would be important information for guests, especially families visiting during school holidays. We also really enjoyed the cinema,"

"I enjoyed my stay here. The property is very spacious and would be particularly well suited to a family or larger group, with plenty of room to spread out. It was also a good property for travelling with dogs.I was working during part of my stay and found it very comfortable for working from home, with desk space to set myself up properly.One thing prospective guests should be aware of is that there is currently construction taking place immediately next door. It was reasonably quiet during my stay, with only a couple of builders working on site, although there was some construction noise at times. As building activity can obviously change, I would suggest asking about the current stage of the works when booking if daytime noise is important to you.Overall, a spacious and comfortable property, particularly suitable for larger groups, people travelling with dogs, or anyone needing space to work while away."
