"The quoted regular tariff was $2800 Peter but we were given a $900 discount which was a good start. However, the we were not provided with linen or towels. The fridge was dirty and we found a mouldy cheese knife in the bottom when we cleaned it. There were four remotes for the television rendering it inoperable. The drier was stuffed with bed linen and the laundry exit on the emergency plan was deadlocked. Not up to standard for the price."

"Avonside Estate is fantastic - wholly recommended. The cabin was amazing and very comfortable. The animals were beautiful and hosts were kind enough to let us leave our dog inside while we went skiing. The welcome basket was very welcome and the chilli jam amazing. Thanks for a wonderful time."

"The studio in itself was a typical hotel room but with the added bonus of being able to cook and do laundry if needed. The lock on the balcony door needs to be fixed though. The location is what made it great - right by the lake’s edge, walking distance to the shops."

"Rydges ‘games room’ was in a bar so the kids couldn’t use it for recreation. There was no wifi code given and the hotel said ‘talk to your agent, you can’t use our wifi’…..the data range sat at 3G 1-2 bars at best. Also advertised as 1 bedroom, was actually a studio with all 4 of us in the 1 space. We won’t be back!"

"I met the property's cleaners while visiting the area in advance of our stay and they were great in telling me what to expect as I had never stayed at that property before. When we arrived, we thought the place was terrific for our fishing plans. Clean, comfortable and well appointed with everything required for a short or extended visit. Given our fishing time on the lake, we barely used any of the conveniences provided, but noted that returning with my daughters or older grandchild would be...

"This was a great property only criticism was the cereal bowls they are more like plates need to get some decent ones but other than that everything was fantastic from the location and view to the facilities will definitely be back!"

"Comfortable and warm unit with lake views. Easy check in/out. Unit would benefit from thorough clean - one of the dining chairs was heavily stained, some kitchen utensils weren't clean, the tops of household items were very dusty; the carpet sweeper was clogged with hair; Wi-fi would be an advantage (we were aware that wasn't available)."
