"Our stay at the Belmont was probably one of the best accomodations we have ever had. A beautiful historical home that is well preserved and to a large extent furnished with great taste and original furniture. Modern amenities are cleverly built in without being seen. A good breakfast of decent size was included with the prize, which in itself is worth every penny considering the quality of the house. Our stay was close to perfection."

"This is a top notch property. The property is a small one so the owners have the ability to treat the facility and the guests with all of their attention and respect. While I was doing research about places to stay, I reached out to people I knew in the area. Two of my contacts told me they had done some remodeling work at the hotel and I'd truly be satisfied if I did choose this property. They were right! I loved staying here and after getting the grand tour of this 124 year old property from Calvin, the owner, I had even more respect for this historical place. The rooms were just right and very clean and I was always greeted and checked on to see if there was anything that I needed. I will always stay at this property when I'm home and they have rooms available. I think this place should be designated or registered as a Mississippi Historical Landmark. "

"I come to Mississippi all the time because I have family there normally we stay at the tru but they were booked plus over priced ended up here and the stay was great only thing was the dripping faucet from the bathtub other than that 5 stars "

"The stay was decent. I only had 2 complaints. First the hotels.com showed an active pool in the picture but the pool was filled in obviously years ago. And also the water was brown whe i filled the tub. "
