Quirky Farm Apartment - with Green Acres to Wander

Kick back and relax in this peaceful, stylish space located on a beautiful two acre farm cradled in the Freshwater Valley, surrounded by lush Redwood forest - and located in Humboldt County, a special place infamous for it's history as the nation's hub of marijuana production, breathtaking coastlines, and majestic redwood forests. Cannabis Friendly - No Smoking Indoors 21 years+ This one bedroom apartment is a 2 story unit attached to a main house, which is also an Airbnb. The interior of this unit is completely separate and private from the attached building, and heavily soundproofed. There are no shared indoor spaces but you may see other guests coming and going on the property. The private entrance to this unit is on the ground level where the kitchen, dining area, and living room are located. The kitchen has an electric two-burner stove top, toaster oven, microwave, and apartment sized refrigerator. Basic cookware, cups, dishes, utensils, spices, oil, coffee, tea, and sugar are also provided. The living and dining room are combined next to the kitchen with a rock hearth and a uniquely made wood burning stove for the winter months. Fire wood is provided, chop at your own risk. The unit also has a conventional heating system for comfort and ease. The bedroom and bathroom are located up a small, tight flight of stairs on the second level. If you have difficulty with stairs, please consider this prior to booking. This upper level has beautiful custom redwood floors and windows that provide an almost 360 degree view of the property. The mattress is a queen size Beauty Rest by Simmons, extra blankets and a dehumidifier (for winter months) are provided in the closet. There is also a smart TV for cuddling up and watching a movie in bed. The bathroom is attached to the bedroom. There is, a sink, toilet, and tiled shower that will make you feel like you're in a ship. The cabinets in the bathroom contain toothpaste, hairdryer, first aid kit, bath linens, etc.. This is at times an operating farm which means there may be a certain level of activity and noise throughout your stay - such as mowing and landscaping related noise. We also occasionally have our dogs on the property whom are friendly and will want to meet you. No smoking inside the Airbnb. The area immediately outside and around the rental is yours to use and enjoy. Guests are permitted to walk around the property as long as a respectful distance is maintained from the other residences. We do however ask that guests do not enter any of the buildings that are not part of their rental. There is a security gate at the entrance to the property. The gate code and detailed parking instructions are provided after booking. Please check the link provided in your messages, it's important! Cell phone service can be spotty at the farm with some providers, so make sure you write down the entry code, and review instructions before arrival! The unit is left unlocked and keys are on the table. Parking is located directly in front of the apartment. Humboldt is rainy in the late Fall, Winter and early Spring, and this property is in the country so please expect muddy conditions outside during this time.
