Additional information to align expectations: Lake Lucerne is a historic resort from the early 20th Century, which originally included a golf course and an airstrip (now long gone). In the early days, the resort was a social center serving the vacationing elite. Over the years, much of the resort was divided up and sold. Today, Lake Lucerne is a historic snap-shot in time. There is no access for fishing, swimming, or boating at Lake Lucerne. The "lake" is a spring fed stream with a hand laid limestone dam. Some travelers have had expectations of a large reservoir and have commented that, in their opinion, it is more of a "pond". (We assume that the founders didn't like the sound of "Pond Lucerne", therefore, it has always been referred to as a Lake.) Over the years moss, and other aquatic plants, have grown in the shallow end of the "lake", although, the deeper end near the dam has clear, open water. Please note that this is not a commercially groomed reservoir. Lake Lucerne is a natural Ozark stream with fish, plants, and moss. It is naturally beautiful, but it is not maintained like a "water feature" in a botanical garden. You will be staying on the South shore of the lake. Each of these 10 Cabins were a part of the original Lake Lucerne Resort. They are all individually owned. Each owner does their best to maintain the historic integrity of these small authentic log cabins. Be prepared for a narrow 1 lane road, although, it is easily navigable. We are in the Ozarks and the cabins are perched on a hill with sufficient room for a gravel road and a small driveway which will easily accommodate modern vehicles. There is sufficient space to safely drive to your cabin. The road includes a "turnaround" at the end, providing room for a 3 point turn. (We have NO space for trailers)
The Neighborhood:
You will feel miles away from the hustle and bustle of the busy world, when in fact you are only 2 miles from downtown Eureka Springs, where you will find plenty of shopping, fine dining and nightly entertainment.

We definitely enjoyed our stay, again. Self check in works well. Fatima was very kind to personalize our arrival with a card and gift. Everything was just as expected.
This was the perfect cabin for our quick getaway. The cabin is close to town, yet it feels like you are in the woods. Everything was just as it was described on the listing. We loved our stay here and highly recommend it!
This is a lovely property! We were hoping for a great view of nature and this was perfect! We enjoyed sitting on the deck and even inside were surrounded by trees! Can’t wait to return!
We very much enjoyed our stay. Everything was as it should be and more. We very much enjoyed seeing the deer all over the property. Not to mention the chipmunks, and hummingbirds. Eureka Springs was amazing.
Cabin #4 was adorable and we enjoyed our stay. Everything you need in the kitchen for cooking as well as a propane grill outside. The surroundings are beautiful. We enjoyed walking around the little lake and watching the geese. The only downside, and it’s nothing I would consider major, is the bathroom was pretty tiny. I’m tall so I kept banging my elbows in the little shower. The hosting service from Fatima was excellent. She was communicative and friendly. Thanks for sharing this cute cabin with our little family!
