This property was in a great location since it was close to all the fun near downtown. The Urban Deck House is a lovely home that had plenty of room to accommodate us. Our small group of five "sister cousins." The furnishings were ample and good quality throughout the home.
We chose this property with two specific things in mind. #1 was the Hot Tub. Which was not working. We were informed by Vacasa about the hot tub NOT being available due to needed repair about an hour prior to our arrival. Upon investigation it appears the previous guest from April had the same complaint about not having a working hot tub as described in the listing. Disappointed that the listing continued to advertise a hot tub when in fact they knew it would not be available. Had we known we could have had an opportunity to re-locate since that was a priority for our stay. #2 Location, which was lovely.
The home is not being managed well in our estimation. The poor lighting throughout the home was a challenge. There are ZERO lamps in the main living spaces. The sparse harsh overhead lighting was less than idea even though it allowed for dimming and brightening. Light switches were noted everywhere. Very confusing trying to figure out what switch was for what lighting. Many of the switches were not working. Kitchen lighting in particular was less than expected.
There were no bath matts (rugs) only small towel rugs available. The bedrooms while furnished with kingsize beds were not very comfortab
