"the man and women at the front desk were amazing. they went above and beyond for us. we were in a car accident (rear ended) on our first day in Iceland (about 15 minutes from the cottages) and were very stuck as we couldn’t drive the car or make phone calls. we got in contact with them and they not only picked us up but moved us into a room in the main part of the building so that we could be close to the front desk to use their phones to make many calls back and forth to our car rental company....

"Great views and location - waterfall is about a 20 min walk from the cottages. Cottage is well-appointed with everything you may need. We had an issue during our stay and reached out to management who was very quick to respond and work toward resolving our issue. Despite the issue we had, we would book there again"

"Chalet dated but very clean and well equipt. Fabulous location and we sat outside on the decking frequently. Very close to a main trainline into London but we knew this as visiting friends having previously lived in Broxbourne. Didn't bother us. Sofa not comfortable to sit & enjoy TV. Very hard. Only other negative was the twin beds. Despite the mattress toppers, the springs in the mattresses have gone. They do need replacing. Sadly we had an uncomfortable few nights sleep! "

Great location, comfortable rooms, good food, and most importantly amazing staff that always go the extra mile to make your stay a special one. Special thanks go to Mr. José Mendez who always makes sure that all guests are having a wonderful time. Furthermore, the swimming pool is very nice and heated, and we really enjoyed the mini-golf and the little steam next to it. "

"We got stuck in snow traveling up the road to our cottage, and it was very scary for us. The road should have been closed sooner than it was, but nevertheless our host helped and came to get us. He drove us from our stuck rental car to our cottage and then brought us back to the car the following morning and helped us dig our car out (literally shoveled our car out with us)!!!! He was AMAZING and was truly the best part about our scary experience on the mountain. While for the Icelanders the...

"The cabin was large, spacious, and clean. Beds were comfortable and private with 2 separate bedrooms. We enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend this property. "

"The property was new and in a quite area. The views were great! However, the property was clearly not ready for us. We were unable to set up the TV because we did not have access to the WiFi password. We eventually found the info/welcome page on top of the kitchen cabinets which should have been placed in an area where it could easily be found. The kitchen drawers had leftover dry foods left open and other things that clearly should have been cleaned up. There was some trash left behind...

"The property is located in a very picturesque place. You have a lot of privacy and the perfect place to enjoy the Aurora! Well equipped. We stayed two nights. 15 minutes drive to Höfn. The local pool is very nice too."

"Beautiful property surrounded by horses and mountains. Only a 9 minute drive to secret lagoon. So cosy and comfortable. Easy access and we watched the sunset was dreamy! Highly recommend. "

"Very basic, no frills. It should, I feel, be made clear that you need to bring your own bedding and towels as by the time you've paid to hire these you could have stayed somewhere a lot better! You're also required to clean before you leave. Chalet clean enough apart from bathroom being rather smelly. "
