"I travel extensively throughout the UK staying at hotels and guest houses. This is one of the best, can’t believe the price! Very friendly staff, exceptional breakfast choice - really good! Can’t fault the place, large room, very clean, comfortable bed, secure parking and fantastic location. Will return definitely for business and pleasure. Cant recommend the hotel enough"

"We had a truly wonderful stay at The Packhorse Inn. We stayed in Warren Room which was really lovely a very comfortable bed and a fantastic bathroom. Areas of the room and the hallway leading to it are a little tired looking stained carpet and areas of paintwork could be refreshed. The food was absolutely amazing we had roast beef and sticky date pudding for our meal. Lovely service the waiter was very helpful and attentive. Breakfast was also very good the staff looking after us were so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely return! "
