I got married at this hotel a year ago today and returned for my anniversary. It is a gorgeous hotel and they serve a divine afternoon tea!! It's expensive but so worth it! #weekendgetaway

"We went for a short break, to meet up with other family members. The cottage was very clean, beautiful kitchen, bathroom, the owner had thought of everything, and gave us a lovely hamper. Nice friendly pub, 2 mins away. Bus stop, 2 mins away. Location good too!"

"Very clean, excellent area, great hosts, lovely little hamper of welcome goodies. All facilities you would need for a short break. Only thing lacking was outdoor space but we were made aware of this and as it was a short break not a problem. Would definitely stay there again."

"This was a really lovely place for an autumn getaway, brilliantly located, warm, well-equipped and beautifully presented. We enjoyed walking from the front door and exploring the beautiful countryside as well as having other fantastic locations a short drive away. "We had an amazing time here. The barn is furnished to an excellent standard and there was no scrimping on the mod cons. We had everything we needed. The views were glorious and the little touches went a long way. Would absolutely recommend this property to all- excellent value for money. "I really enjoyed my stay. This property is bigger than it appears online. Very spacious and comfortable. Lots of lovely welcome goodies. Well equipped kitchen. Be prepared to meet a friendly but huge barking dog. I was fine but it might be of concern to some."

"The area was very peaceful. Lanes to and from seaview.next door to working farm the owners. Not intrusive. Welcome cake on arrival. Overall agood location for west bay .Lyme Regis. Sidmouth etc .we had avery enjoyable holiday and will return even our dog ðŸ• loved it ."

"Beautiful cottage with a fabulous fireplace, a must for a winter break. The setting on a working farm was just lovely and the children were treated to a visit to the lambs, calves and ducklings. The hosts were so helpful. Would love to return. Thank you"

"This is an amazing property………Classic somerset cottage equipped with all modern conveniences. Super quiet (well a few tractors collecting the harvest!). We all slept very well. It takes 30 mins to walk into Ilminster along a country trail past Dillington Hall for those that like a good walk. About 8 mins by car. "The barn at Stalbridge completely fulfilled our needs. Very good communication from the owner, easy key access, good parking information, fully self contained. Warm large bedroom which suited us in spring, comfortable bathroom , small shower cubical but we were fine with that. "
