Quiet Farm Stay with Private Hot Tub, Open Skies, and Room to Breathe

Fall on the farm is quiet, and there's nowhere to be. The cattle graze out in the pasture, the air cools off in the evening, and after dark the only light is the stars and a string of lights across the grounds.



The Little Farmhouse is a custom-built home for two on our 117-acre working Wagyu farm, just outside Lynden. It's small on purpose and short on nothing: a full kitchen, a queen bed with good sheets, and the top of Mount Baker and the Twin Sisters showing across the fields.



Most people have never stayed in a house this size. It's easier than you'd think, and harder to leave.

This is a real working farm, not a staged experience. During your stay, you may see cattle, farm equipment, and normal day-to-day farm life around the property.

The kitchen includes pots, pans, dishes, and basic cooking essentials for easy meals during your stay, plus a bbq to cook up some delicious meals.



Guests are also welcome to shop our small on-site farm store featuring Oostema Wagyu beef raised right here on the farm. You can even request a private shopping time with Lisa during your stay.



Grab a steak, head back to the Farmhouse, and cook dinner just steps from where it was raised.

Unwind in our hot tub, fully enclosed with privacy fencing and a gated entrance. It's the perfect place to relax, soak under the stars, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings of the farm.

• Private use by reservation: you'll have the hot tub all to yourselves during your reserved time

Take evening walks down the quiet farm lane, watch sunsets over the pasture, enjoy the fire pit, or simply sit outside and enjoy the slower rhythm of farm life.

While we do host a small number of guests in other accommodations across the property, the farm is spacious and everyone has room to enjoy their own quiet corner.



𝗣𝗘𝗧 𝗣𝗢𝗟𝗜𝗖𝗬

One well-behaved dog under 50 lbs is welcome with prior approval and a pet fee. Please add your pet to the reservation to view the fee and confirm approval. The pet fee covers normal dog hair removal. If excessive pet hair or additional cleaning is required, an extra cleaning fee may apply. Bringing your dog’s crate or bed from home helps keep things fresh for the next guest.



Dogs must be kept leashed, quiet, and supervised at all times. Pets are not allowed on the bed, must never be left alone, and must be kept away from livestock.

The Little Farmhouse is best suited for adults and older teens. Due to the working nature of our farm, livestock, and equipment on the property, we cannot accommodate children under the age of 16.

Please include the word "FARMSTEAD" in your booking message. This lets us know you've reviewed the listing details and house rules so there are no surprises for either of us.

A short rental agreement may also be sent before arrival.
