About this property
Railway Cottage: Cosy Cotswolds Farm Retreat
Wake up to sheep grazing in the next field and the smell of fresh coffee in your farmhouse kitchen. Railway Cottage is a cosy, beamed hideaway at Bridge Farm, tucked into the Worcestershire countryside at the foot of the Cotswold Hills — the perfect base for exploring Broadway, Chipping Campden and Stratford-upon-Avon while still feeling like you've properly escaped. The space This quiet, single-storey-feel cottage has an open-plan living and kitchen area with exposed ceiling beams and lovely views over the surrounding fields. Upstairs, a gallery-style landing with two single beds leads to a comfortable double room — ideal for a small family or two couples travelling together. The fully equipped kitchen means you can cook up a proper meal after a day out, or just keep it simple with a cuppa on the sofa. Outside, you'll have a seating area to relax with a glass of wine while you watch the farm's sheep and bees go about their business. Free Wi-Fi and free on-site parking are included, along with an EV charger and a travel cot is available on request for younger guests. Getting around Railway Cottage sits on the edge of Honeybourne village, a short walk from the local Co-op, two village pubs and a well-loved fish and chip shop — handy for the nights you don't fancy cooking. Honeybourne railway station is just 5 minutes walk away, with direct trains to London and Worcester. By car, you're around 10 minutes from the honey-coloured high streets of Chipping Campden and Broadway, 20 minutes from Stratford-upon-Avon's theatres and riverside restaurants, and within easy reach of Cheltenham, Tewkesbury and Oxford for a day trip. A proper welcome This is long established holiday cottage business run by the same family for years, and it shows in the little touches: a pint of fresh milk in the fridge, tea, coffee and biscuits waiting for you on arrival, and a host who's always on hand if you need anything during your stay. Perfect for: Couples or small families wanting a quiet countryside base Exploring the Cotswolds without Cotswolds crowds or prices Walkers, cyclists and anyone who wants to fall asleep to actual silence Short breaks near Stratford-upon-Avon, Broadway and Chipping Campden

Nice cottage
The cottage is very nice and welcoming, well equipped in the kitchen. I would recommend more pegs in the bathroom, some shelves (there is just one peg behind the door, no space to place your make-up bag, toothbrush and toothpaste) and to replace the two taps (hot and cold water) with a new bathroom mixer tap , as it is now is not comfortable . It would be great to have pegs and a clothes rail in the master bedroom instead of two chest of drawers. A part from those things our stay was good

Wonderful Stay
A large group of us stayed at Bridge Farm Holiday Cottages while attending a family wedding nearby just before Christmas 2023. All five of the cottages (Woodcut, Stable, East Barn, West Barn and Courtyard) we stayed in were fantastic. The décor is lovely, and each cottage is fully equipped with everything we needed. All were warm, cosy and very clean with comfy beds and big fluffy towels provided.
But it was the thoughtful extra little touches that made our stay really special; each cottage had a fully decorated Christmas tree inside with an extra larger tree in the communal space between East and West Cottages which made everything very festive. The communal space is also brilliant if you are in a larger group as you can gather together and eat meals or play games – of which there are many provided. Each fridge had a fresh pint of milk inside with tea, coffee and biscuits provided for a welcome cuppa after a long journey. There is a local Co-op a short walk away which is very handy for getting supplies and there are two local pubs and a great fish and chip shop only minutes away.
Communication with the owner Fiona was always very friendly and helpful and any queries we had were responded to promptly. We would highly recommend these beautiful cottages to anyone wanting to holiday in this lovely part of the world.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication
Disliked: Listing accuracy
The property was only a 1 bedroom with 2 single beds on the landing. Got eaten alive by mosquitos, not the owners fault but a few repellent sockets would have helped, or a bit of warning to come prepared with repellents.

Lovely cottage and great location for little kids
Lovely stay. A very sweet cottage with just enough space for 4 and a little one! Clean, cosy and homely. Would definitely return, especially with the little one as it is the perfect location for visiting the wildlife centre.
We loved our stay at Bridge Farm Cottage. We were fortunate to wake up to a snowy winter wonderland on the first day. Just amazing. We had everything we needed and with the Co-op just down the road, the location is perfect. Thanks Fiona!
A cosy house. The sheep in front of the kitchen window were great.

Great location!
Railway cottage is clean, cosy and an ideal base for exploring the cotswolds, with most major attractions and towns half an hour away. The villages are a must see. Honeybourne is well equipped with 2 pubs, a co-op, and a fish and chip shop. Also there is a railway station.

Excellent
Everything is perfect except the hot water flow in the kitchen. (could have been a bit more sufficient)
The property was extremely welcoming and perfect for the planned trip Everything was immaculately clean with lovely towels and bed linen. Parking was convenient and accessible. the sitting out area with chairs and tables was a bonus as the weather was so good great to have somewhere to enjoy it. I cannot fault any aspect of the property and Fiona's help on where to eat was so helpful.
Many thanks for making our stay so welcoming and relaxing.

Family Stay
The cottages suited our needs for our large family during Covid in particular. The space in the cottages and outside areas have been maximised. The bedroom arrangements were clearly explained and for a weekend stay was fine. We found the Thatched P.H very welcoming and the kids enjoyed the animal park in Honeybourne. Good location to explore the Cotswolds.

We really appreciated the care that Fiona took to look after us - the cottage was warm and cosy and very convenient for the Cotswolds and the Midlands. The kitchen was well equipped, the towels fluffy and the TV Freeview appreciated!
