"We had a great stay, the accommodation was comfortable and clean, the hot tub was a great feature and so relaxing. the grounds are quiet and we were visited by some chickens too! Perfectly located for a break from every day life, just 5 minute drive to the town and half an hour to the beach. "We have stayed at Astor house before so we came back to the same apartment. They had upgraded the sofas to recliners which was a nice surprise. The apartment itself is easy to get to clean and Torquay town centre is a short walk away. It has a great view over the beach side of Torquay and the area is quiet. The place is clean and well maintained and the host kindly provided some biscuits and milk. I would highly recommend this place."

Top Exminster Hotel Reviews

voco Zeal Exeter Science Park by IHG

10/10 Excellent

"Cosy room, good facilities, close to shuttle bus"

The Imperial Torquay

8/10 Good

"The room was fairly clean although furniture has seen better days. Seafront views are spectacular. Hotel is a 10 minute walk to city centre which is nice if you want to try various places to eat, also there is a nice south west coast trail near by if you fancy a nice walk. The stay was relatively lovely although I would like to stay in other places with a seafront view if I’m to visit Torquay again"

Hotel Indigo Torquay by IHG

10/10 Excellent

"The hotel is only about a year old so the building and all the fittings and furniture are in as-new condition. The staff were all cheerful and a delight to work with. The food was good both breakfast and the evening meals. The location right on the foreshore is attractive with lovely views of the sunrise but it is well away from the centre of Torquay. When I arrived Google maps had the location 300 metres too close to the main part of Torquay so you need to check this before setting a route."

Woodbury Park Hotel and Golf Club

8/10 Good

"The room was a good size, with everything you need. It was a bit tired with the carpet threadbare in places and the bathroom needing a deep clean, paint and fresh mastic. The food in the restaurant was reasonable, but the service was slow and it was clear they were understaffed and getting things wrong."
