"We stayed for 3 nights at the Lux Villa Ifigenia location in Theriso Village If you looking to stay in a very original, authentic home both unique and old-fashioned that is located in a very small and quiet village, this might be a good option for you. Be prepared though for 3 floor living, tight circular stairs, lots of antique decor and furnishings, base-only showers, inconsistent hot water etc. The AC and WiFi both work well though and there is off-street parking. "The staff, rooms and view were wonderful. This was the best place I stayed in Crete. The rooms had a small fridge, kettle, cups and plates, everything we need for our stay. It was spotlessly clean with a very comfortable bed and beautifully decorated room, so peaceful. I would definitely stay here again."

"This is a self-service hotel where you will receive the location and door code along with the key which associates to your room. The room had the basic necessities such as soap, towels and WiFi which were all I needed. The only issue I had was activating the A/C which did not work even after closing the window. Overall, I enjoyed Chania and TheJoy hotel and would come back again!"

"Our stay at Anotolia Charming was so amazing, the room and the service were both superb. Only a short stroll from the old port with shopping and restaurants and an amazing vibe all round. The lady at the desk was so helpful and assisted us with several local calls to retrieve some items we had left on another island - we can't thank her enough!! "Breathtaking views perched on the hills overlooking the sea and the white mountains. Run by a wonderful and helpful local family. I loved this property even with the tiny shower and slow internet (Whole area is slow). This is the best place for this area, close to a beautiful town Georgioupoli and to over 6-10 miles of beach. It has a nice pool but the balconies are the steal. "

"Great venue with amazing views, only 10 minute drive into Chania. Pools are clean and plenty of sun beds. Amazing choice for breakfast. Dining room was very good. Just a heads up that you pay for the breakfast when you’re on site. Would return"
