The upstairs is an A-frame room and there are stairs to the upstairs unit, and to the loft. This could be a positive for privacy, if you are young and agile. We slept on the hide-a-bed on the main floor and found it comfortable.

"Great staff! Great Breakfasts! The property is very clean and conveniently located on the way to the airport. The area around looked industrial to me, but that was not bothering as it this was the last night before leaving Iceland."
"Wow, we loved most everything about the hotel, including the “thermostat” which had electonic buttons for opening and closing the window. So nice to have fresh air at will. Was a little confused about how to use the bathtub…the tub is beautiful but water pressure a bit lacking for a nice soak in the tub. All of that said, the staff was excellent and helpful, from storing our luggage until check in and after checkout. The heated floors in the bathroom, high ceilings, mini fridge, and comfy beds with lovely bedding were a huge plus!"
