Remarkably well maintained for a building so old. Very comfortable with interesting historical accents in the room and the lobby. Would stay again.

Truly lovely, hospitable, courteous staff. Came during a tough snow weekend and the owners were present and so kind to shovel out the parking lot, cars parked there, etc. The establishment is very clean but maintains so much character. Had their breakfast which was wonderful and lots of locally sourced ingredients, 100% would recommend and come back!! Thank you for such a lovely stay!!

The mansion is absolutely stunning. We stayed in the Carroll room (I’m pretty sure that’s the name). It’s more of a suite with a sitting area separate from the bedroom. The history of the place is apparent everywhere but it’s all been nicely kept for the inn. The owners Cindy and George are super sweet and accommodating. If your schedule allows, definitely make dinner reservations and stay for breakfast. George is also the main chef and his menu is delicious. The restaurant typically closes at 9pm so noise was never an issue. I would 100% recommend this place. It’s only about a 10 minute drive into Gettysburg, and about 1 1/2 hours to Baltimore or Hershey, PA.

Best hospitality we've had in awhile. We left a pillow (my fiancé's from when he was 5yo) at the mansion house and the owner mailed it back to us. He's incredibly attentive, down to earth, a great chef, and runs his business well. We'll definitely be back.
