PEAK fall Aspen leaves changing season is coming up! in Park County, mid September to mid October so don't miss it! is sooo beautiful and the property has its own grove :) This secluded, beautifully decorated, full round log cabin, with hot tub on deck, is set among the trees in the amazing Mosquito Range in the heart of South Park Colorado, private forested acreage bordering national forest with aspen groves, pines and spruce! Secluded, yet easy access and only minutes to charming mountain towns and Colorado vacation resorts such as Breckenridge. Wonderful every season - Winter Wonderland, Spring Awakening, Summer Wildflowers, Autumn Aspen Colors - the sunshine and night, super starry, skies in Colorado Mountains at this altitude is a must have experience all year round. Cabin and ski getaway

Short trip from Denver, gets you right into the mountains near skiing. Hot tub was a nice option after skiing, and unwinding with a fire and a book was perfect.

Excellent getaway

Perfect mountain home for a simple getaway. Added bonus that pets were allowed. Property is quiet and the hot tub was a great addition after days of hiking. Closing to town and well stocked. The home had a very welcoming feeling, would definitely rent again.

Cabin is cute. Bathrooms were clean. Beds were very uncomfortable so we didnt even stay the second night we booked. Also needed to wash pots and pans before we could cook anything Hot tub under the stars was nice. I was expecting more of a view but this cabin is tucked away in the trees which was nice for privacy. We did have a juvenile moose vist early Saturday morning which was a treat

Peace & Quiet!

Loved this cabin. Super clean hot tub, comfortable kitchen, double bathrooms (including one upstairs which is great), lots of sunny spots to read & nap, a great porch, peaceful surrounding and places to walk through the woods. Highly recommend.

Sweet and quaint getaway

We had a very nice time at the property - it felt like staying at "the family cabin." It was quite secluded, clean and cute. We had a family thing come up at the last minute that threatened to keep us from coming, and the property manager was quick and generous. It all worked out in the end. We'll keep this one in mind for another trip!

Just what you expect from a cabin in the mountains

It was nice to have a quiet stay after traveling across the country. This cabin sits above 10,000 ft. There are no neighbors close by. Privacy was nice when using the hot tub. There is a nice selection of DVDs to watch. We could not get the direct TV to work. If you want to relax this is a nice place to do it.

This place was awesome. Exactly as described. Perfect for a getaway from the city to relax. Cabin had everything we needed and more. The surrounding area is gorgeous and the town of Fairplay was nice to explore. Host was great, too.

This cabin is an authentic mountain cabin. My families comment was " Great find!" We had a comfortable stay. Worked out great for my family of 4. Highly recommend.

Awesome winter get away

The property was the perfect stay! The hosts were very communicative and beyond kind. The cabin had everything we needed and more to spoil us and our dog. Surrounded by perfect scenery. Far enough away to have peace and quiet under the stars, and close enough to spend a few days at the resort skiing. Would love to go back again and highly recommend

13th birthday party weekend

I took 5 13 yr old girls to the cabin for my daughter’s birthday sleepover.They loved the huge hot tub and fire. We watched old dvd’s and they enjoyed the loft and instruments. The cabin was secluded and the surroundings were gorgeous!

Cabin by South Park Colorado

The cabin was great. It had everything one could need — especially for family fun. It was a nice surprise to find that the cabin was only minutes away from the town of South Park! We had a blast exploring the little town and the people are so friendly. The other plus was that it is only an hour away from Breckenridge and Copper Mountain, which is where we went skiing. Try Otto’s restaurant in the town. You will not be disappointed!

Great hot tub!

It was secluded and reasonably comfortable. Hot tub was awesome. However, steps from parking area to deck were long, uneven and steep with no handrail. House is rustic and could do with a little sprucing up. Bed was a bit uncomfortable.

Made to feel at home

Lovely cabin and felf right at home. Location was wonderful, hot tub was amazing. The cabin needs some TLC, and could have been cleaner, but not bad. Communication could have been better at checkout. We messaged and left a voicemail for host needing help and we never heard back. Overall, a lovely stay.

Remote and Beautiful

Thank you to Tanya for a great experience in her beautiful cabin in the mountains. My friends and I stayed for two nights in March 2024 and the property got at least 24" of snow. Tanya was very helpful in organizing a plow so that we could get out even on the worst day of the storm, but the winter mountain roads are as you expect, so we ended up spending nearly all our time in the cabin. The hot tub was excellent for being snowed in and we managed to make the most of our stay. I imagine the outdoor activities in summer or a normal winter would be amazing! Definitely had a good experience and appreciated Tanya as a host.

A perfect fall getaway! The aspens around the cabin were beautiful and you could walk the trails right off the property. It was secluded and quiet which we loved. The house itself was cozy, clean, and well stocked, and the hot tub was excellent. Can’t recommend enough!
