A breathtaking custom log cabin featuring endless views from inside, on the wraparound deck, or from the private hot tub! The cabin features classic mountain cabin decor, a gas fireplace, 2 spacious living areas, a basement bar and a large hot tub. Enjoy the best of both worlds by being secluded in a magnificent home in the mountains while only 8 Miles from Fairplay, 10 miles from Alma and less than 27 miles to Breckenridge!

- Main living area has floor to ceiling windows to let you fully enjoy the amazing views
- Wake up and enjoy the views from the Master bedroom right from bed!
- Very quiet and secluded because the access road is a dead-end
- Hiking access to BLM land just steps up the road, go all the way to the top of the Mosquito Range while exploring rivers and old mining artifacts

Welcome to Moose Tracks Cabin! Step out onto the large wrap around deck of the home where you can enjoy unparalleled 360 degree views of the mountain range and valleys, grill up your favorite foods on the propane bbq grill or step down to the salt water hot tub to enjoy a long hot soak after a day filled with fun and adventure in the Rocky Mountains. In fact, you can walk right out of the house and get access to BLM land to explore and hike! It's the perfect blend of seclusion and luxury for your next Colorado adventure!

Built with full-sized premium logs, the upper levels of the home offer a quintessential high alpine feel. As you step into the cabin, you are greeted by a wall of floor to ceiling windows next to the large stone hearth of the great room fireplace, offering incredible views of the Mosquito Range - no matter the season! Sink into the large, leather couch for a good read, a fireside movie with those you love or just enjoy the wall to wall mountain vistas. The well appointed kitchen offers ample counter space, state of the art stainless steel appliances and everything you will need to whip up your favorite meal. The dining area has a spacious table with comfortable seating for 6 and additional high top seating for 4 at the bar.

Both mid-level bedrooms of the home feature en suite bathrooms, queen size beds fitted with luxurious cotton bed linens, corner closets and walkout access from the rooms to the deck space (easy access to the hot tub!) The spacious master suite is located in the open loft with gorgeous views from every window, a private balcony, large corner desk space and a king size bed fitted with luxurious cotton bed linens. Relish in the classic mountain cabin decor with thoughtful, unique and personal touches throughout the house that will make you feel right at home.

The basement has a large entertainment room that offers a corner bar with a mini fridge, comfortable leather seating around a large television and a laundry room with full size washer and dryer available for guest use - no need to waste precious vacation time at the laundromat in town!

Valley of the Sun is home to a variety of wildlife and this spectacular location affords opportunities to observe elk, deer and foxes (just to name a few of the critters!) right on the property. Additionally, you may see moose in their natural habitat in the wetland area near the cabin.

Park County is an activity center of the Colorado Rocky Mountains, it's a great "base camp!" If you can think of an outdoor activity, you will probably find it within 10-20 minutes of the cabin. Activities include skiing, snowboarding, hiking, mountain climbing, snow-shoeing, horseback riding (winter too!), ice climbing, fishing, hunting, rafting, snowmobiling, 4-wheeling, mine exploration, canoeing, kayaking, and much much more.

Family trip to remember
We truly enjoyed our stay at Moose track cabin. The whole family was in awe with the cabin. The cabin was so clean and comfortable. We enjoyed coming home at night and cooking in the kitchen with it feeling like home. We also enjoyed the hot tub and watching movies at the end of the night together. The best part was seeing moose in the backyard. Being from FL this trip was amazing.

Beautiful location and cabin
After 8 years of not traveling to Colorado, me and my family decided to travel back to Colorado, we came across this cabin after hours of searching and let’s just say it’s the perfect cabin, the views are amazing, and it’s really spacious, if you want to feel some what secluded but also be 15 minutes away from FairPlay then this is the place, I will say this if you go during the winter make sure u have good tires and/or chains

We absolutely loved our stay! The property and views were so amazing! We saw elk & chipmunks everyday. The weather was beautiful, so we ate most meals on the patio..it was perfect! The kids loved the hot tub every night, too! Thank you for a wonderful stay. We will definitely be back.

Super Summer Trip!!
We REALLY enjoyed staying at the cabin! We saw moose, a porcupine and her baby, a coyote and numerous chipmunks! The location was perfect for day trips to Breckinridge, Rocky Mountain National Park, Estes Park, Royal Gorge and Garden of the Gods. Loved the fireworks display in FairPlay on the 4th!! We would most assuredly recommend and will stay here again!!!

Not what was expected
We want to be as professional as possible about this review. However, No matter what we say about how catastrophic this stay was we don’t want the comment back from the property management company to point their finger back at us. I wish the public could read our reviews from multiple rental companies over the many years as my husband and I travel all over the lower 48. This is the most unprofessional company we’ve used ever. Over stating and under delivering out to be their motto. If you read their policies and procedures? They steer completely of path in relation to their posting. Once again, please don’t make the mistake we did. Over all? The place is a 7 out of 10. The property management company was absolutely terrible. My husband and I have used other words professionally for companies such as this. Sheisters……

Great stay
The house was beautiful and very clean. Unfortunately the house had very low water pressure so no two people could shower at once. The house has amazing views but is in a road that is very difficult to drive with snow/ice. The stairway up to the house also wasn’t shoveled which made it dangerous to walk up with snow.
