"This was a great place for our family to stay for a weekend in Lancaster County. We had tickets to see the show at the Sight & Sound Theater, and this was a fantastic location -- less than 10 minutes away. We didn't spend a ton of time at the house, but we were very comfortable when we were there. We hadn't realized that there wasn't a TV, but honestly, it was GREAT to have a break from that!! The host reached out via phone on our drive there to let us know about their offer to make Amish dinners for us the next night, and we wished we'd known about that beforehand because we definitely would have taken her up on that had we not already had plans to meet up with other family members at Shady Maple Smorgasbord. We wish we could have taken advantage of the offer for an Amish breakfast and pony rides, too. The driveway is a little tricky to get out of, but the road isn't busy, so it wasn't too bad. We enjoyed hearing the horses & buggies going by through our stay. Another unexpected bonus was that there was an EV charging station a 5-minute walk away, so my husband parked our Ford Lightning there overnight the two nights we were there (it was a slow charging station at Paradise Energy Solutions, very affordable). We'd definitely stay at this home again if we were to return to the area. "
