  • "My Roundette" is a great place for a romantic get-away or a private retreat. Relax in the comfort of this charming roundette. Watch the moon rise over the mountains from a private hot tub. Enjoy the beauty of our Koi Pond. The Koi Pond features a waterfall and a fountain. This home features a flat screen HDTV, a hand-made sassafras bed, and a fully-equipped kitchen with a Jenn-Air Range. Enjoy the rustic elegance of refurbished wood. The walls are finished with refurbished heart pine, and there is furniture made from refurbished wormy chestnut.

    Nature’s Cove is a new addition to our property. This area has plenty of places to sit while enjoying the surrounding woods and the native plant gardens. There is a wooden swing, 2 hammocks, and a wrought iron table with chairs. Native plants include Yellow Flame Azaleas, Wild Bleeding Heart, Phlox, and Wild Geranium.

    The Cove at Fairview has many wonderful amenities. My Roundette has a new propane grill and a firepit (propane provided). Visit our three horses and two miniature donkeys – they always love carrots. This is the best house to stay in for feeding the barn animals. Fresh eggs from our chickens are provided. We also have an electric charging station. This Level 2 EV Fast Charger is available free of charge.

    The Cove at Fairview is located just 15 minutes from downtown Asheville and the Biltmore House. We are only 10 minutes to The Blue Ridge Parkway. Relax in this well-appointed home after a day of site-seeing!

We loved our stay at the Roundette this past weekend. The location is ideal for a trip to Asheville. It's cozy, has everything you could possibly need and a bed that is so comfortable! We truly enjoyed feeding the horses and goat if we weren't in the hot tub. We plan to return this fall!

Lovely Couples Getaway

The host was kind and informative, and gave excellent local recommendations. The property is quaint and peaceful and the fresh farm eggs were wonderful! We adventured 30 min away and rode horses through the National Forest at Saddle Up, enjoyed local meats, cheeses, sandwiches and smoothies at Trout Lily, and found an amazing blues band at the Local Joint. Awesome area and so much to do! Highly recommend!

My daughter and me had a great time during our stay there. My daughter especially enjoyed feeding the animals in the barn every day. The house is clean and with all we needs. The host is very nice to walk through the house and surrounding when we checked in. The location is also very convenient and near to a lot of tourist attractions, restaurants and grocery stores. We really love it!

Great place to getaway

My wife and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary during our stay, and Frank, the property owner, went above and beyond to make it special. He generously upgraded us from the Roundette to the house on the hill, which was quiet, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The overall experience was perfect. After a day out enjoying Asheville and the surrounding area, the peaceful nights were a welcome and comforting end to each day. Great weekend escape

The property was absolutely beautiful. The flowering plants were in full bloom and the setting was gorgeous. We felt like we had escaped to a quaint, mountain retreat. The owners were knowledgeable and provided great recommendations for places to visit and eat. A couple of highlights included the fresh eggs and a chance to see the horses, chickens, and goats. Beautiful setting and a shorter drive to the city than the map suggests. Loved the animals and the outdoor spaces. All the amenities were perfect for a quiet couples getaway. Anniversary in Asheville

We absolutely loved everything about our stay. Looking for mostly a place to hang out while we experienced Asheville, we were amazed at our time at the house. From staring at the stars in the hot tub each night to a massage inside our house one afternoon, our whole trip was so great. We are already planning the next trip and will definitely be staying at the Cove at Fairview, if at all possible. They also have other rentals on the property that house more people so we can take the whole family.

Exceeded our expectations

The round house was a perfect escape for our 30 year anniversary. The owner has thought of everything and created a beautiful space both inside and outside. Love the grounds with decades of quality landscaping and the privacy it afforded. So close to Asheville and yet remote and private. Thank you for everything!
