"We arrived late to a warm reception and some great 'Fruits de Mer' in the restaurant. The manageress was very kind and helpful and speaks good English ( she is Polish and worked in London). A nice old inn basically, with a small wing of modern rooms tacked on the back"

"Ideal place if you want to cycle but if it rains you’ll still have loads to do as the property is within easy driving distance of Caens, Bayeaux and Rouen. Pegasus Bridge and the D Day landing beaches are all within easy reach and museums are very interesting. Only reason for 4 star on accuracy of listing is because it mentions that breakfast is available. "We had a lovely week at St Iven. The rural location meant the peace and quiet was wonderful and was much needed!
