"The hotel is generally very nice but we were on the top floor and the elevator stopped working and it took a day to fix so we had to go up and down by foot. The staff was very nice and breakfast was very good but not a big selection."

"I stayed at Achinos Apartments for a solo working holiday in Kalamata, where safety and security were top priorities, and the property felt very secure throughout my visit. The location is ideal—one road back from the beach and 200m from the sea, tavernas, and Bus Route 1, which connects directly to the Old Town and Castle. Being late season, traffic and bar noise were non-existent. Staff were fantastic; Elenia at reception and Bella with the housekeeping team were remarkably friendly and efficient. I initially booked a Standard Room on the second floor, but found it cramped. Its balcony faced a neighboring wall, blocking all sunlight. I opted to pay for an upgrade to a Superior Room the next day, which was well worth the extra cost. It was much larger, offering a bigger balcony with mid-morning sunshine and a partial sea view. The layout was well-planned with ample storage, mood lighting, a free safe, and a spacious bathroom with both rain and handheld showers. The desk was suitable for working, though built-in USB ports would be a welcome addition. A couple of minor issues stood out: the linens smelled strongly of smoke despite being a non-smoking room, and truly hot water was mostly limited to mornings, which could prove challenging in peak season. Lastly, the €11 daily bakery breakfast—delivered with coffee, fresh juice, and two pastry or bread items—was hearty enough to cover most of my day, though all the single-use packaging felt wasteful. Overall, very good."

"Initially we felt a little disappointed inspite of an incredible welcome. Our room had no towels and was a little tired with stains on the sofa. The shower head was positioned so water shot through gap in screen all over the floor. So we could only have hand held showers. However the rest of the hotel was beautiful and the staff incredibly helpful Breakfast service was a bit hit and miss at times. Though maybe trainee staff. The lady who bought out food was incredible constantly restocking and cleaning. We booked this hotel due to private beach but we're told it had closed day before. However we were ok as discovered some other places and lots of beach and sunbeds to choose from. Inspite of this. The hotel served it's purpose and I would recommend and or go back. I just think we didn't get the advertised refurbished room. Thankyou for a great visit."

"Finding registration lobby is difficult. Parking entrance is not where the navigation apps take you to. From there you wait till someone shows up with golf cart or walk to the lobby. It is manned only by one receptionist. Sea view room is over the street separating hotel building and hotel outdoor restaurant. The area has good restaurants with seating next to water."

"Curated beauty in every direction. Our room overlooking the ocean and golf course was fantastic. Spacious and very well appointed with extra large king bed. The exceptional staff maintained everything to an immaculate standard. Breakfast was off the charts. Myriad and delicious breakfast choices. Everything about this resort is upscale. The pools are impeccably maintained. The beach is pristine. We stayed 8 nights and we were so sorry to leave. Recommend you rent a car from Ionna at the Hertz office at the adjacent resort. She was wonderful. The beaches and villages are authentic and beautiful."
