"I had a great staying at Hotel Santo Stefano. The staff is absolutely wonderful; I travelled by public transport and they came to pick me up and take me back to the bus stop. The rooms are very spacious and confortable. The hotel has got a restaurant which is very handy when you have spent a day at the Archive and you are too tired to go out. "This is an absolutely private place in the Tuscany’s hills. You can relax all day, but if you want the hustle and bustle of the city, Arezzo is the nearest big city (Siena 1.5 hours by car). There are several restaurants to choose nerby. A major shopping centre is 20-30 minutes away. The house is typical Tuscan style and well equipped, energy consumption needs attention but we had no problem. The big pool was our favourite, we spent almost the whole day there, there’s not much else to do on a hot summer day. We recommend the place for those who prefer relaxation and retreat."

"Our stay was absolutely calming and relaxing. The pool is heavenly, especially after a long days travel And great for sunbathing. We love that the villa was located in the countryside, Where it was quiet and peaceful and no hustle and bustle of urban traffic/people. However, We had fairly close access to several towns such as Arezzo, Florence, and Rome. We were very close to the old medieval town of Anghiari, where we had a delightful lunch At a local restaurant and visited Museums and old medieval churches. Our host Lorenzo and his family were Very helpful and made for a perfect stay at the villa. The villa is very safe and secure. It has a full kitchen and a washer and plenty of space to spread out. The night sky in the evening is absolutely beautiful.This is a must stay and visit destination place. We will definitely return next year!!!"
