"First of all it should be pointed out that the flat is in a senior citizens home. Slightly strange but unless you keep very strange hours then it's not a problem. "Great room with plenty of space and very quiet- no noticeable noise from other guests or the road. Secure underground parking available at an extra cost. Very comfortable bed. Fridge, kettle and proper mugs in the room. We used the laundry room which was great- costs around £2.40 for each wash/drying cycle. There’s also an iron and ironing board in the room. We ate dinner in the hotel restaurant and it was very good and reasonably priced too. Gym is open 24 hours and has some decent equipment and hand weights, plus the room has air conditioning which is always a plus. There is a water filter machine near reception and it’s free to use. Staff were very friendly and helpful with transport information and suggestions of places to visit. The hotel is a little way from the centre of the city but easy to reach by tram or bus, taking approximately 10 minutes. The bus stops right outside the hotel and the walk to the tram stop is about 10 minutes. We walked into the centre along the river and it took 25 minutes. There’s a Carrefore supermarket next door to the hotel. The only negative point is that the air conditioning was not cool enough. We would definitely stay here again."

"It’s a beautiful property. The staff were friendly and helpful. The spa was very good. They do not provide much in the way of toiletries. They charge for using a bicycle. I have eaten dinner in the main dining room and the meal was excellent. Hiwever, I was unable to get into the dining room this time and dined at the bar, outside. We both ordered a steak and potato meal that followed a simple and delicious salad. Unfortunately, we both found our two a steaks, cooked à point ( medium rare) tough, gristly, and almost inedible. We each left two thirds of the beef uneaten. Such a disappointment."

"We were over the moon by our bed!!! The staff was very helpful & hospitable. Great shower. The ONLY reason I wouldn’t rank this hotel as 101 out of 100 is because we didn’t have a coffee maker in the room. I’m an introvert (a writer) —I prefer to make my own coffee as I want silence in the morning. Everything else was exceptional!!!"
