"The social club was a great value. It was located conveniently off of a main street, not too far (an easy 10-15 minute walk from either of the main train stations in Glasgow) and was a very modern facility. Everything worked great and the rooms were modern and spacious. Without question, I'd recommend this place. It's a bargain."

"A very tidy hotel. Staff were well aware of what was going on and traveller requirements. Room was comfortable and "cosy" as described. One point of note was the unusual paint smell, which we advised staff of. Not sure there was anything they could do to improve, but made them aware. All in all, a very well located hotel, just 10 minutes from the railway station and 10 minutes from the city centre ( walking too!) Thank you"

"The hotel was very nice. Enjoyed the deep bathtub with a relaxing bath after a cold day of walking around Edinburgh Castle. The staff was especially wonderful, helping us with questions about the heater and tub faucets. I didn't get her name, but I believe she was the manager or someone in charge, very accommodating and friendly and to Katie at the front desk who was very helpful and always pleasant and friendly."
