Please note: Although Posada del Norte (PDN) can accommodate up to 18 guests, the published nightly rate only covers 10 guests. Additional guests (11th to 18th) will be billed at $85-$95 per person, per night.

Also, reservation monies paid through Vrbo are non-refundable. Therefore, we strongly encourage reservations only be made for 10 guests, our minimum number of guests included in published rate. Prior to arrival, once final & accurate guest count is more likely NOT to change, additional payments can be processed.

PDN is a fenced & gated 3,350 sqft estate home located on 1.8 private & spacious acres, just 3 miles off Highway 15 in beautiful Fallbrook, California.

PDN’s stunning resort-like grounds include more than 4,000 sqft of beautiful SYNLawn artificial grass with HeatBlock technology. PDN's tropical, solar heated pebble tech pool & jacuzzi (heated at will) is surrounded by our majestic waterfall and multiple seating areas, all designed to maximize & inspire outdoor living.

Temecula Wine Valley, Temecula’s historic Old Town, and the Pechanga Casino & golf course are only 8 miles north, a short 15-25 minute drive. Those considering a vacation rental in Temecula should also consider that during hot summer months, Fallbrook is generally 10 degrees cooler than Temecula… making it much more temperate & comfortable.

Now then, upon arriving at Posada del Norte, a stately 17' privacy gate will slide open, allowing entry to PDN's ample driveway. Up to eight registered overnight guest vehicles can park in PDN’s driveway.

An elegant stained-glass double door, with a convenient digital lock, leads to an open-beam, vaulted ceiling living room with spectacular views of the backyard, pool, & across Fallbrook’s rolling hills.

PDN's gourmet kitchen, dining room, & living room promote communal living via a generously open floor plan. These spaces are flooded in natural light through east-facing windows.

The large living room is furnished with three full-size couches (one of which is a queen sofa sleeper, one a regular couch, & the third is a triple recliner sofa); a built-in entertainment center offers a 75” smart TV (with Direct TV service); a DVD player; and a generous DVD library.

Three ottomans (each convertible to single beds) are arranged in the living room to create a huge “coffee table”; a wood burning stove adds ambiance (firewood not supplied but available locally); and a 120” remote controlled drop-down movie screen offers a unique home theater experience.

The gourmet kitchen is equipped with a professional DCS range w/double oven; granite counter-tops; 29 cu ft fridge (with filtered water & ice dispenser); dishwasher; stainless steel microwave; an independent 5-gallon purified water dispenser/ice maker; and most standard appliances including a 12-cup standard coffee maker; stainless-steel toaster oven; and a 4-slice toaster. The kitchen’s large central island makes it easy for everyone to pitch in.

The dining table provides seating for six with four additional bar stools on the dinning room side of kitchen counter. Because the property was purposely designed to enjoy Southern California’s temperate climate, beautiful views, & healthy outdoor living, there are two other outdoor dining options. These include the Gazebo Lounge & the Redwood Lounge.

Back inside, five bedrooms are furnished with pillow-top mattress Cal king beds, elegant furniture, and are nicely decorated. PDN's 6th and 7th "bed rooms" (the Library & Piano Room respectively), offer sumptuous queen beds and are similarly furnished.

Posada del Norte also offers 3.5 bathrooms inside, with an additional convenient bathroom outside by the games area.

BR #1- Bordeauxxx the spacious master-suite, opens to the backyard w/pool & mountain views. The built-in entertainment center features 52" HDTV & DVD player. An electric RC gas fireplace provides a warm & romantic ambiance. An outdoor shaded patio is furnished with two chaise lounges.

BR #2 - Anashirazi (named after my first-born son Anastazi… & a wine varietal), offers a 42" HDTV & has double mirrored-door wall closet.

BR #3 - Kianti (named after Kiani, Anastazi’s little brother & the beautiful central region of Tuscany named Chianti), offers a 32" HDTV & a double mirrored-door wall closet.

BR #4 – Zinfandel offers an entertainment center with 50" HDTV & a DVD player & a walk-in closet.

BR #5 - La Quinta offers a 32” TV, a tall chest of drawers & a double mirrored-door wall closet.

BR #6 (Library) – this room is not connected to the Piano Room and is fitted with hanging barn doors effectively turning it into a 6th bedroom; however, privacy is limited due to its proximity to living room. Library has an elegant wall to wall built-in unit & is permanently furnished with a queen bed, open closet, a nightstand & bedside lamp.

BR #7 (Piano Room) – is not connected to the Library, is furnished with a queen bed, two night stands, lamps, a dresser, & an open closet. The piano room is also equipped with a an electric baby grand piano. Hanging barn doors & hanging barn door shutters make this space more like a bedroom; however, privacy is limited due to its proximity to living room.

The guest accessible single bay garage is rubber tiled and serves as PDN's fitness room. It is equipped with a Nordic Track Elite recumbent bike; Olympic bench & squat rack; dip/pull-up stand; dumbbells; medicine balls; curl bar; 5'X10' wall mirror & more. Please note that on occasion, Owner may require access to either garage bay to access electric/irrigation controls or retrieve stored items.

Fiber-optic AT&T wireless internet access is available throughout the home & most outdoor lounge areas. Although generally stable, internet service can be spotty & cannot be guaranteed. Also, if a party of 18 is all connected to the WiFi, it may be dreadfully slow.

This amazing property boasts a private & extensive backyard including a free-form, Pebble-Tec swimming pool; an adjoining spa spilling into the pool; our spectacular backyard waterfall; more than 4,000 sf of beautiful SynLawn synthetic lawns; a 4-hole artificial putting green; a 30'X50' foot multipurpose turf area; flowering shrubs; exotic palm trees; succulent gardens; various fruit trees; an avocado orchard; & a beautiful rose garden.

Fruit, herbs, & roses of various varieties can be picked & enjoyed by our guests.

Most impressively, the property’s resort-like grounds include no fewer than seven distinctive lounging, social, and/or entertainment areas. These were all designed to inspire & embrace outdoor living like few homes ever have.

The views from most every lounge area are extensive & breathtaking & most lounge areas feature a fire or water element & are furnished with either deep-seating outdoor furniture, chaise lounges, daybeds or redwood furniture.

PDN also has a 1,500 sf artificial turf multi-purpose area designed to offer families & friends a place to lounge or play numerous outdoor games. See our amazing array of games below!

The Upper Deck is perched above a 21’X31’ patio & features glass walls affording exceptional views. The Upper Deck is furnished with an outdoor sectional and an ample 11' x 11' cantilever patio umbrella.

The Gazebo Lounge is set around our centerpiece multi-level waterfall feature. The gazebo offers comfortable deep seating for 10 surrounding a square granite-top fire table.

The Redwood Deck has a 16’X20’ redwood pergola offering shade for a spectacular 12’ rectangular redwood table offering seating for 14. A live-edge slab bar-height table offers still more seating options. The fireplace provides a warm ambiance at night as do the string lights hanging from the pergola. Views from the Redwood Deck are truly remarkable.

PDN's Bonfire Beach, featuring a broken-glass topped propane fire pit & is surrounded by 4 double-wide redwood rocking chairs & 4 redwood benches. The bonfire is fun for the entire family on both balmy summer nights and cool winter evenings. Bonfire can be used a maximum of 2 hours per day; however, guests cannot congregate at Bonfire Beach past 10:00 pm.

In the games area, PDN offers a variety of indoor & outdoor games including many board games; 8' outdoor aluminum pool table; ping pong table; 9' shuffleboard table; pop-a-shot basketball game; shuffle board; giant outdoor checkers; bocce ball; pickle ball & more. *Due to unexpected loss or damage, not all games are guaranteed to be available for all reservations*

Also in the games area, a cedar-lined dry sauna & shower offers a convenient commode for those enjoying PDN's numerous outdoor amenities.

The large, outdoor granite BBQ island offers a 38" 5-burner grill, a bar sink, & a Fornoteca propane pizza oven!

Security cameras cover publicly visible driveway, entry gate, front door, & driveway parking areas.

Lastly, should you need any assistance, we are usually available 24/7 during your stay, as we reside in the detached guest house.
