"The hotel and its setting are a great escape. The beautiful gardens make for an enjoyable stroll down to the mostly private beach. The room was very clean and tastefully decorated, and the beds very comfortable. We were allocated a room that was an upgrade from what we had booked, and even with it being a Ground Floor room it still had its own seating area (two in fact!).
Had both breakfast and dinner in the restaurant during our stay and the food was great for both.
Staff were friendly and attentive - we received a warm welcome and they actively sort feedback on checkout.
The hotel is so peaceful and quiet with plenty of wildlife to watch too (woodpeckers in the gardens). If you’re looking for somewhere to just stay and relax, or as somewhere as a great base for exploring what Cornwall has to offer it’s a great choice."
