"the metcalfe is one of the best hotels in ottawa. the service is impeccable. we booked the junior suite. the living room was spacious and nicely decorated. the bed was extremely comfortable, like sleeping on a cloud. i’ve stayed here multiple times and it continues to be my top choice. the poor reviews are left by miserable people who should stay home"

"As soon as you walk in you feel you are in an upscale hotel. The staff is very welcoming and accommodating. The hotel is easy to navigate. We particularly loved, the pool, the hot tub, the sauna room. There is also inside access to the Rideau Mall. Our room had a beautiful view of Parliament which was a really great view as the sun was setting. We will be back for sure. "
