This property is very pretty! And, you get more privacy than you would get in a traditional hotel. The rooms themselves are quite basic, but we knew that going in. It was affordable and clean. Would recommend for a quick, convenient overnight stay.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Chalk Hill Lodge. The room and bathroom was clean. The patio was spotless. The king bed and love seat were comfortable. The cleaning staff and receptionist were friendly and very helpful. Looking forward to our next stay!

This property was recently updated. The staff was extremely helpful. The room was clean with an outside deck overlooking a small pond. The area was quiet. No breakfast available but had a wonderful meal at the Maywood Grill.

We decided to do a last minute white water rafting trip in Ohiopyle, PA. The Lodge at Chalk Hill was just what we needed! A clean and comfortable spot to rest our head for the night. Our room looked to be recently renovated. The front desk staff was friendly and engaging. Although we weren't there long and didn't get to explore the area thoroughly, we will definitely be back and plan to book again with the Lodge at Chalk Hill!

Cute stay for the price but it’s not for the long term stay. The towels and sheets were very clean. My only real complaint is the room did smell mildewy and the heater air conditioner had some black mold in the vent. However, I will save for the price and location. It is worth it.

We stayed one night for a concert. Easily accessible, clean, staff was extremely helpful will stay again. It is dog friendly and some are not dog friendly so great option for everyone!

Hotel was clean and beautiful. The staff are all amazing and very accommodating. The only thing is if you are coming to the hotel at night take you time and go slow sometimes it's hard to see the sign where you pull in. We will definitely stay again.

If you are going to Timber Rock for a show this is a perfect place to stay. The Maywood Grill across the street has one of the best breakfasts you will find anywhere!!

Overall our stay was very nice and we would return in the future if the opportunity arises. The room was very comfortable but the shower head should be upgraded, the drain cleared of its clog, and get thicker towels. Also, the lake could use some attention (maybe a pond/lake service) and adding a fountain for some visual interest would be a great addition.

Nice location. Under construction/maintenance at the time so improvements in progress. Staff very friendly and helpful. Like the privacy of the “cottages”. We enjoyed our stay and so did our dog!

I had no idea what to expect and was pleasantly surprised. The rooms are cute, with a slider open to a deck with table and chairs. The only detractor was the sign to turn in isn't lit up at night and its very difficult to find. They should invest in a spotlight for the sign.
