"A beautiful hotel, located centrally within Piancastagnaio. The hotel is very relaxing and tastefully converted convent with a stunning pool overlooking the valley. The hotel is very clean and comfortable and we loved our spacious room overlooking the gardens. Service is okay, it cannot be criticised, but lacked warmth at every level. Ignored by many staff and we would have expected a little more. Once again food was good (we ate dinner and had breakfast each morning) but not spectacular and we opted to eat across the road on one night where staff really tried to engage with us which we appreciated. "
