"The location is ok, not too much to do in the close vicinity, or any big shops for food. The hotel itself is quite dated, which is evident from the corridor, doors and the musky carpet smell. The rooms are ok in size though they were really warm in temperature and no air con available, just a desk fan. The bathroom was quite dirty with marks on the bath towel, a quarter of a toilet roll left and the bath and sink itself were a tad dirty. The pressure for the shower was really great though and the water temp, this was a really big plus. The beds (double and a single) were ok but very spongy and the duvets and pillows had marks on them.
The room door is extremely loud when shutting and it did not close tightly which made sleeping at night slightly uneasy.
One BIG BIG mismarketing from my booking with hotels.com is that it noted fitness centre and pool at hotel, though it is offsite(along at the stables country club) AND it is not included in the price of the stay. If i knew this i would not have booked this!
The breakfast was better than expected for such place, though the healthy selection was lacking. The coffee tasted overly fruity and what really spoiled it was the old lady worker watching over what each guest takes and how long it takes them to finish. As it's her that cleans up. We as a family all felt stared at from her. "
