"Friendly greeting by Kim. Lobby is beautiful and smelled amazing. Room I stayed in was gorgeous. Great coffee selection including french press. A welcome visit from the local house cat, Ginger, during the morning of my departure. It was icing on the cake. A wonderful stay! I was sad to leave this lovely place!"

"We loved our stay at the Garrison. We had a suite, which meant we had a refrigerator, microwave, and kitchen table at which to relax. Bed was great. Room was spacious. Staff were helpful with requests and taxis. It’s located right in town so it’s easy to walk to restaurants and shops. They let guests usetheir dining room space for takeout food from the nearby restaurants. All very helpful for our travels."

"Family run, charming and historical property. Rooms can be tight but are lovely. Bar is wonderful with wood from the 1600’s. They distill their own gin which adds to the experience."

"Nice comfortable and clean overnight stay. If you have any need for internet don't come here. Otherwise we had a large comfortable room with a large bath. The bed was super firm and old but we were very tired. The burger food truck just next door is awesome. As mentioned the internet is super slow whether in the lobby or room. There is no lift so be prepared to carry bags up. Also safety note: if you plan to be driving to/from Glasgow at night (or even in daylight) be super careful. Many deer just along the roadway and we saw at least 4 dead road kill driving in the early morning to Glasgow."
