The Cabin at Bursaw Beach

The Cabin at Bursaw Beach

10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful clean home and amazing beach. Shallow and rocky in the water but don’t have to go far to find sand. Sand toys were a plus, and very nice Adirondack beach chairs and fire pit with wood provided. Was everything we hoped for!"

Noc's Landing: Sun-Soaked Days & Starry Nights – Your Summer Escape Awaits!

10/10 Excellent
"If your expecting a 5 star resort you might be disappointed. If you are booking this with the understanding of enjoying Northern Michigan while staying in a nice traditional cottage, you will go home with a smile. It could use a few updates but checked all of our boxes. Location was very easy to find and was very quiet. We enjoyed sitting near the water watching incredible sunsets while enjoying bon fires. Rocky shoreline so water shoes are a plus. Owner allowed us to pitch a tent for our teens. They loved sleeping outside listening to the lake at night! We would definitely be happy to stay again!"

Rustic Lake Michigan Cottage Fire Pit & Beach

Rustic Lake Michigan Cottage Fire Pit & Beach

8/10 Good
"The property was cute. It reminded me of an old cabin at a resort. Outlets were somewhat challenging. Fortunately extension cords with multiple outlets were made available. The bedrooms are very small, so luggage was kept in the main cabin room. We did not have any problems with the wi-fi and Internet access. The beach area is nice and it was fun to walk out into the water (about 200-300 yards we were only at knee deep). You are unable to swim as the property is located on very shallow water. The property is long and narrow, so there are neighbors on either side, but the houses are located by the water while this property is located by the road. The neighbors on each side have No Tresspassing signs up down by the beach. I especially appreciate hosts that are pet friendly; allowing us to travel and see new areas as a family.Stacie was proactive in her communications and responded quickly when I couldn't find the code to the door for check-in. Overall, we had a great time and enjoyed our stay!"

Stonington Clearview Cottage: Sun, Sand & Serenity – Summer on the Stonington Peninsula

Stonington Clearview Cottage: Sun, Sand & Serenity – Summer on the Stonington Peninsula

10/10 Excellent
"If you are the sort of traveler who enjoys being left alone, loves a vintage Great Lakes cabin, and most of all needs an extended shot of quiet nature, this is your place. We stayed for four nights while on our Upper Peninsula vacation and honestly wish it were 2 weeks. The cabin was built in the 1950s and includes all kinds of neat built-ins as well as cool items such as a grandfather clock and antique dressers. A short sandy path leads to a firepit and the beach, and that good-sized stretch of beach is all yours. The neighboring properties are spaced out and behind thick groves of trees and we did not see any neighbors over the four days. The cabin was clean and spacious for two people, and would likely work fine with a group of up to four. No A/C, but many fans to make things breezy. With days in the mid-70s and nights in the 50s we had no need for A/C. The satellite wi-fi was in and out, but we stopped worrying about that after a half hour. There is a water filtration system in the cabin, and you will definitely want to use that for drinking water in lieu of the tap water. The Stonington Peninsula is beautiful and we biked all over it, Very flat biking, very little traffic. The house also comes with a good two-person canoe. We didn't need the management company for anything until check out, but they contacted us by text a couple of times to make sure everything was good. I am 100% confident they'd have come through if we needed anything. We loved this cabin."
