"This property did not disappoint! No detail was spared in making this the perfect spot for comfort and relaxation. And the views! The property was designed and situated to take advantage of panoramic scenery. Our fisherman were especially appreciative of the private boat ramp and dock. There were 3 couples and we all commented that you couldn’t go wrong with any of the 3 bedrooms….all 3 were comfortable and had their own baths. We will definitely stay again if back in the area. Awesome trip!"

"We now live out of state and traveled back to Chilton County to celebrate Mothers Day Weekend with family. We were pleasantly surprised by the accommodations. The house is wonderful and perfect for a weekend getaway or a week enjoying the water! We will definitely stay here again in the future!!"

"The house was even better than anticipated! The owners thought of everything one might need when staying with a group. We cooked, grilled, swam, fished, canoed, kayaked, slept in the hammock, gathered around the firepit -- and had a fantastic experience. The location is picturesque on the shores of Lay Lake. The owner was quick to respond to our questions and incredibly accommodating. We can't stop talking about our time there and hope to go back again next year!"

"From the moment we walked inside the cabin, we loved it. The front porch was so inviting and welcoming. I loved the patriotic theme and peaceful charm of the decor. The cabin was carefully decorated with a mix of southern hospitality and love of country. The swimming pool was wonderful and the grounds were immaculate. "The house setup is great. We enjoyed sitting on the covered decks with a great view overlook the Waxahatchie. The flat top grill was a big hit. The house was well stocked and very comfortable. Great location ."

"Exactly what we hoped for. Wish we would have had more time than 2 nights. Did some fishing off the dock, enjoyed the peacefulness of the yard and the lake. Driveway is very steep but we knew this ahead of time so no issues."
