The Cubana Ballina
10/10 Excellent
"A cool retro hotel close to the heart of Ballina. Room was super clean and very comfortable. It was nice to sit in the afternoon sun on the sunloungers on the grass...we did both afternoons with a glass of wine. The host suggested a French restaurant in the town centre which was also fantastic. The Wharf restaurant is also a must do We enjoyed our stay in Ballina. Only 1 suggestion....issue parking spots per room as it was annoying to come out of our room with cars so close to our door we could hardly get out."

"Very convenient for Byron town centre, just 5 minute walk to shops, restaurants, beach etc. Quiet despite being on the main road into Byron. Everything in the room required for a 2 night stay."

"The room was clean quiet and well maintained. The only unusual thing is the bathroom setup. The basin sink is outside the bathroom in the entry area to the room. It was ok but a little different. Staff were very friendly and the light breakfast was very good."

"Stayed for 3 days. Parking was free. Room was clean. Had a huge bathtub, washing machine & dryer and big dining table. Only downside was there was no housekeeping throughout my stay, only provided if staying 4 nights or longer."
