"My wife, dog and I stayed in the Parlour cottage at the end of August 2024. Please take note that they prefer cash or bankers transfer, Hotels.com does not take the money. It is so relaxing and quite, this is down to the hands off way of the owners, Martin & Kate. We arrived and found a wonderful welcome pack waiting of Bread, milk, eggs and biscuits. The cottage is well equipped although some mobile service providers, (Vodafone) do not cover the area. Locally there is a small shop come P.O....

"This really comfortable home has everything you could want for your stay. It is tastefully decorated and has a beautiful garden. It was very clean and we all loved our stay. "The house is very beautiful. Enjoyed several challenging walks close by. Needed to bring supplies such as salt, pepper and basic spices. Also needed shampoo. Called on first day about five light bulbs out in kitchen and other rooms that were not replaced during our stay. Also needed a small non stick pan to cook eggs. Be aware that range top needed to be turned off and on to start working. "

"They made us feel really welcome with the welcome pack and made things so easy for us by getting us a welcome bundle with fresh bread milk and eggs and also loads other little things, there little cottage is amazing and they should feel really proud how amazing they have set it out it’s perfect and you can see the effect they have put in to make it perfect and Marty and bev the hosts couldn’t have asked for any thing better thank you for a lovely stay.
