"This apartment exceeded our expectations. Not only was it exactly as described and as the pictures showed, it was better in real life. Very spacious lounge area with comfy seating. The kitchen has plenty of equipment and a large Fridge/freezer. Super bathroom with a washing machine, and all the powder/conditioner needed to enable us to wash most of our clothes before we left. "We had a wonderful stay in this charming house located close to the beach. The house was spotless and well stocked with all the amenities. The view from the balcony over an olive grove to the sea was great - we particularly enjoyed all our breakfasts, lunches and dinners there. Also, the host, Nikolaos Kopanakis, was exceptionally friendly and helpful. To sum up, the location is really perfect for spending a most relaxed and delightful time on the south side of Crete."

"Wi-Fi was down the entire time we were there. Not a huge deal but this was never disclosed to us until we asked. Seems like some information we could have be told up front. Bathroom was definitely not cleaned before our arrival. House is overall tired and needs some basic attention. Lots of lights that don’t work, shower was pretty dirty. Definitely more “rustic” than “traditional” The property is beautiful and we did enjoy our stay, just wish it was cleaner. "

"Charming, tranquil cottage in a small mountain village. Lovely daytime views of the Aegean Sea to the north across the valley below, but our favorite view was at night, looking straight up at the stars and the clearly visible Milky Way. Excellent taverna just a few steps away, though unfortunately the café mentioned by others has closed. You will find the refrigerator extremely well-stocked. Three good air conditioning units to keep things cool on hot summer days. If you're a cat lover you're in...

"Nous avons séjourné 3 semaines dans cette petite maison très bien équipée et très propre. Tout est très bien pensé dans l’aménagement. Anna est une hôtesse très gentille et toujours pleine de délicates attentions. Elle nous a fait découvrir de nombreuses spécialités culinaires de la Crète, nous faisant très souvent des cadeaux. "We had a wonderful stay at the Ariadne Beach Hotel. Everything was perfect from start to finish. The staff were friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Our room was clean and well equipped with terrific views of Mirabello Bay. We were half-board and the food was fantastic and the waiting staff just lovely. The beautiful Gargadoros beach is only a short stroll away on which we spent many happy days. We will definitely be returning!"
