Friendly historic city. Lots of character and plenty of places to eat. If you're a foody, you'll love the variety of choices around the downtown area. We didn't take advantage of the activities available, but you could easily find something to do.

Fort Clinch State Park is beautiful. The Cumberland Island Ferry is also a really fun excursion. This town really is beautiful and charming with such a rich history. The Victorian homes are stunning with a great waterfront and vibrant nightlife.

The shopping is fun! There was a produce, plant, craft market on Saturday! The gift shops have awesome things to buy! The food is delicious! Family friendly, awesome night life, beachfront was clean, fantastic people serving you!

Historic Fernandina Beach was beautiful and we had a great time in the town. We had a great meal and did some shopping. There was a nice variety of stores and we left with lots of goodies. We also enjoyed the marina and the art.

We returned this week to hike the Eagan Creek Greenway. You can walk to the entrance of the Greenway. Its a beautiful area for hiking and is well marked and full of wildlife. You also can walk to the beach.

"Best Residence Inn anywhere. Breakfast is awesome. Zack and the others are awesome. The suites have great kitchens. The pool area has a huge table area with three gas grills. Walk to Sliders are other areas bars\restaurants. Shuttle will take you all over the island. Whirlpool\Hot tub is huge and towels in a outside chest. "
"I found the relaxation that I needed while staying at Courtyard at Marriott Amelia Island. The staff were awesome and extremely helpful. My room was beautifully decorated making for a pleasant oasis when I wasn’t exploring the Island. The French Fries are the best I ever had. I loved that I had everything I needed without leaving if I didn’t want to!! Highly recommend!!"
