Pietro, l'hôte, est une découverte humaine aussi riche que les monuments qui l'entourent, enjoué et passionné , il vous renseigne allegreto sur l'essentiel: restaurants, lieux, historique de la ville. Le petit déjeuner est à la hauteur de l'accueil: tartes, confitures, pains faits maison sont un régal. Ses voisins ont le même sens de l'hospitalité. La literie et la décoration sont de qualité. La maison se trouve dans une ruelle en cul-de-sac: tranquillité assurée même si on se trouve à quelques minutes à pied du centre historique

Bellissima atmosfera, bell’ambiente ben arredato. Persone gentilissime e disponibilissime. Colazione col servizio bello della nonna e con pane e marmellata fatti in casa. Una chicca a tre minuti a piedi dal centro e nello stesso tempo fuori dai percorsi confusionari

Pietro and Valentina made homemade bread and treats, as well as coffee and orange juice, for us each morning. More than that, they spent time to chat with us and give us honest recommendations for things to do and places to eat. It was wonderful!

Séjour très agréable à Ferrare

Séjour très agréable. L'accueil de Pietro a été chaleureux et sympathique, ses conseils et informations bien appréciés. Nous avons aussi beaucoup aimé le petit déjeuner et ses tartes faites maison. La chambre était certes petite mais propre et très confortable avec une vue sur les toits et des campaniles. C'était très très bien!

We were in Italy for three weeks & stayed in 11 different hotels located in different cities/towns, & we both liked Ferrara the best, even though we dinged our rental car in the small alley where this charming B&B is located. Pietro is the owner, & we will never forget his charm & graciousness. He bought this property about a generation ago when he was a young man in his 20s, & renovated it into a B&B. Our room was very cute & accommodating. In order to fit a bathroom onto this room, Pietro had to build out into the alley & suspend the bathroom over what was once a little stairway leading down into the alley. The toilet is in a corner with a ceiling that makes it challenging for grown men to use standing up (esp. at night in the dark), if you know what I mean. We had the best coffee of our entire trip here, because Pietro is a coffee aficionado & buys the best & prepares it himself as an aficionado does. The entire breakfast was spectacular. Pietro makes jams from local fruits, & his mother & sister make the pastries. The B&B is located a short walk to a fantastic little restaurant called Osteria del Ghetto. Ferrarese cuisine. We had homemade ravioli & the salama da sugo, a classic Ferrara dish made with Ferrara salami. Absolutely delicious, & the restaurant owner & chef were just as charming as Pietro. I would go back to Ferrara again, & if we do, we will stay at Pietro's little B&B.

A welcoming relaxed town.

Ferrara is a lovely relaxed town.It is perfect to stroll (or even better, cycle) around with lots of places to eat and drink. The B&B was ideally located and we found the owner, Pietro, to be very friendly and rightly proud of his town.

Perfect in every way.

The host is extremely friendly and helpful about restaurants, sightseeing etc. The rooms are very clean and decorated in a very cute manner. The location is excellent. Breakfast is amazing, with all home-made cakes, jams, breads etc. Highly highly recommended!

l'ottimo soggiorno nella città di Ravenna, non può prescindere dal piacevole soggiorno presso il B & B " Le Stanze di Torcicoda", ottima collocazione nel cuore del Ghetto Ebraico luogo carico di fascino e storia Ferrarese ben descritto nei racconti di Bassani ( tra l'altro trovate i libri in Loco, consiglio la breve lettura di "Una lapide in via Mazzini" ambientato nelle Vie adiacenti). Locali arredati con gusto e attenzione .L'ospitalità molto professionale e attenta degna di una città straordinaria che con le giuste e precise indicazioni (per noi sono state determinanti) regalano grandi emozioni, culinarie, artistiche storiche .... . La colazione un altra chicca. In questo caso noi non possiamo che dire grazie a Pietro e Sua sorella

Nice Hotel in the Center of Ferrara.

Lovely small Italian Hotel in the Center of Ferrara.It give you the Feeling as if your sitting home. Very welcome place and you get nice breakfast by Pietro. He is takes care of you, helpful and give good advices. I had a nice stay and was alowed even to us the balkony of the other room. You can hire a byc from the Hotel which is very usful there. I will sure stay there again.
