"Great value, friendly and helpful staff, nicely decorated and spacious rooms and corridors. We didn't use the bar but it seemed reasonably priced for drinks. Conveniently located within a 10 minute walk to the train station. Many thanks :)"

"I went gor two nights during the heatwave. The room was lovely and cool the first night, but on night two the ac was on but not cool and I boiled all night - used the fan but its not the same. Im guessing but either they forgot I was there for a second night and turned it off, or they'd run out of ad blue or similar. I was too tired to say a thing but sleeping with a fan in your face doesn't compare to ac. Also the cokes out of the fridge weren't cold, and the chocolate melted. And shower pressure was average was at best. But its a £70 Days inn - its fine - does what it says on the tin. If the ac is on then youre happy"

"Stayed with my 2 kids for a night, found it reasonably priced and we really enjoyed a swim in the pool in the morning. Air con system was very effective so we felt cool in the room on a very hot evening. Staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the chap in the leisure club/pool. I was a bit surprised there was no mini bar / mini fridge in the room and the ice machine in the corridor was broken (and the bar had none to give out) but it was in a heatwave, so we must be reasonable! Also if there was an option for 2 single fold out beds for kids, so they can each have their own bed, that would be amazing. They are the only constructive points I can make - everything else was good!"

"Overall a good hotel, basic but has everything you need. I particularly enjoyed having air conditioning during this heatwave, which was set to 18 and was probably only a few degrees above that temperature so that was nice. Two things that weren't so great: the pillows were very hard so ask for softer ones if you prefer them that way - I didn't realise this was an option until I checked out, and secondly there was what looked like a used pair of contact lenses stuck to the bedside cabinet. The curtains were good at blacking out the room, and it wasn't very noisy overnight, nothing woke either of us up and I didn't hear many doors slamming which is often a problem in hotels. The cooked breakfast items definitely weren't the best but the tea was surprisingly good considering it's just out of a hot water tank rather than a kettle. I would happily stay here again next time we have a heatwave. Lovely staff on the reception desk."

"Check in was quick and efficient. Being able to park for no additional charge was great. Great location for all the main parts of Peterborough. Room was exceptionally silent the whole day and night. A few doors in the morning but that's to be expected. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was lovely and clean. Nets at the window and black out curtains. Very much an upgrade on the usual Travelodge I normally stay at due to cleanliness and staff. Room was spacious enough"
