"Hotel in process of an update so pool, bar, dining area and reception area all very tastefully decorated annd looks lovely . Outside area is great too. All staff are excellent and very welcoming! Really enjoyed our time there and already booked up for a return visit in July"

"We liked most things, it was well organised and little touches had been added to make one's stay as pleasant as possible. The owners were very friendly and told us about the surrounding area and even booked dinner for us at a local hotel. We would have preferred a larger bed but that was only a small point. "

"I like Station hotels I’ve stayed in 5 but Carnoustie is the best , unfortunately on this occasion I took ill and they went over and above to assist me on a medical emergency, luckily everything was fine ,,, but regarding the hotel the food was first class the rooms are spotless , will be back in the near future "

"Amazing stay. Historic house set in beautiful grounds. Amazing that they allow dogs also in such a nice place. Fantastic sand beaches right next to the hotel. Service was excellent, really enjoyed my stay and would stay again. Breakfast was delicious…. Best hotel breakfast I’ve had. An EV car charging point would make this hotel even better as there’s hardly any around in the area and would be great for over night guests to charge whilst there. "

"Set in a beautiful area with direct access to the beach. A huge enclosed garden for our dogs and seating areas following the sun. The property is tastefully decorated and spacious it’s well equipped. I personally loved the peace listening to the waves at night, drinking coffee outside watching the sun coming up, long walks on the beach with the dogs. There is a small cafe across the road from the property. Arbroath about 6 miles away so shop before you arrive. A perfect getaway property nothing negative about it."

"Booked at the last minute, the hotel proved to be easy to find, quick friendly check-in. The room was lovely, with a comfy super-king bed, a large room, well lit by 4 windows, good-size shower room, modern and all very clean. Dinner and drinks in the dining room, good portions, well cooked and presented, good value, great service."
