I was debating between several islands within the Maldives. I am SOOOO happy my family and I choose to stay with The W. The service was absolutely impeccable, and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate my wife and 3 year old daughter (especially Ms. Hadi and Mr. Ali). Our overwater suite was stunningly beautiful. The water sports and activities were experiences I’ll cherish forever. The coral reef around the island was breathtaking and like none of I’ve ever seen before. Thank you again W Maldives and “see you soon”.

What a magical experience we had at the W Maldives!! From the moment we arrived in Malé, the W team at the airport (Ismail and Ahmed) made us feel like VIPs, taking care of our all needs before our seaplane transfer to the resort on Fesdhoo Island. Every day we spent at the W Maldives just made our experience that much more unforgettable; whether it was the dining, learning about Maldivian culture and the W Maldives from Chunky Mathew (our W Insider), doing activities like snorkeling or riding the Sea Bob, or just relaxing in our over-water retreat. Everyone that worked there were so friendly, accommodating and just genuinely eager to make sure our stay was as enjoyable as our possible. I also have to give a massive shout-out to all the guys who took time out of their very busy schedules to fit in a game of volleyball with me - Raadhif, Ajey, Ramesh, Raaif, and Faaig from the Loss Prevention team, Iyaan from Finance, Ali from watersports, Kadek from F&B, and Mark from Energy. Thanks for the fun times, gents!

Food quality and service level is top-notch!

We stayed in a water villa for 3 nights with half board. The breakfast was standard international buffet of decent standard. Once you sat down, the staff will ask for your selection of drinks and breakfast orders (e.g. eggs, local maldivian food, indian food selections, etc.) and the rest is via the buffet option. Tbe dinner options were amazing!! Half-board comes with 3-course meal where you can select from the existing menu. Fire restaurant serves very good grills, Fish restaurant serves excellent seafood with very nice plating and the Kitchen restaurant provides various cuisines. The quality of the food is very very good! Needless to say, the service standard is also very high! All the staffs were ready to provide any information/help you need and you can simply text the frontdesk via Whatsapp to order in room dining, make requests or ask questions. The island has a resident Hawksbill Sea Turtle and Grey Heron. Other than the colourful reef fishes, we also spotted blacktip reef sharks, nurse shark and whitetail stingray! Everything was perfect during our stay just that the island is on the smallish side but the food quality and service level was really top-notch! Will totally recommend couples and families to stay with W Maldives.

If you are looking for an amazing beach adventure look no further than the W Maldives. From the moment of landing in the sea plane to the snorkeling and seeing amazing fish species to the amazing dining options, amazing room accommodations to the very caring staff; this is the perfect vacation location. Perfect but pricy

This is a wonderful resort and the staff couldnt be nicer and more welcomming. I celebrated my birthday there, and the attention and care I recieved was truely touching. Only thing is…. It all comes with a price tag. Some things are complimentory, but honestly, a lot seem a bit over priced. Non the less. If the want to spend the extra money, The W is the perfect place to be

Unforgettable Honeymoon

As many have said the staff is one of a kind and truly makes your vacation. House reef was amazing. Resort was very accommodating of all our needs and wishes. Would absolutely stay here again. Only thing to note is to be careful of what is included and what is not with certain food and boarding options as they can be confusing or not direct.

Tivemos uma excelente estadia no hotel! Absolutamente todos os funcionários foram extremamente cordiais e solícitos. Estávamos chegando de uma experiência de péssimo atendimento no fairmont Maldivas, mas o W compensou! Atendimento realmente de 5 estrelas A ilha é maravilhosa! House Reef espetacular com dezenas de peixes e corais. Vimos tubarões e tartarugas fazendo snorkel ao redor da ilha! Foi uma experiência incrível. O quarto é ótimo também. Bonito, confortável, espaçoso. Apenas pequenos detalhes que poderiam ser ajustados é que achamos que a piscina do quarto poderia ter algum aquecimento e o revestimento da piscina era muito áspero, dificultando ficar sentado na parte da hidromassagem. A cama era um pouco dura também. Mas nada que tenha atrapalhado a estadia. Poderiam ser colocadas mais cadeiras e guarda-sóis na área da praia, vários dias gostaríamos de ficar na praia mas não tinha onde sentar. A área da piscina central é ótima! Com bar molhado, gazebos muito agradaveis, pena que não tem vista para o mar devido à vegetação. A comida era excelente. Várias opções e saborosas. Com certeza voltaríamos a nos hospedar no W. Adoramos! Se puder, faça o passeio para a ilha privativa que fica na frente do hotel, é sensacional!

Great property well kept for the most part even though its a bit old. Very clean and the cleaning team does a good job of keeping the inside of the rooms clean. Fantastic food in all of the 3 restauraunts. Friendly and polite staff. Very mellow vibes. F&B manager is lovely, its not often that you get the f&b manager taking your order at lunch and recommending things to do. Lovely scenery , nice house reef and the spa was great. Not much to do other than laze around and snorkel which is great if you want to detach. If youre planning on doing activities plan them before you come and budget accordingly because its a hefty price tag for anything you want to do. Water sports although available are overpriced in my opinion, youre probably better off doing that in another destination where u can enjoy it without it breaking the bank. The whats app chat service where u can ask for anything from room service to booking the spa is fantastic ans something ill miss on my next holiday. All in all had a great trip. Would recommend it for a short trip and head somewhere else to enjoy water activities.

The overwater villa we stayed in was really nice. The view from the room is stunning. Water is very clear and the marine life was very diversed. We enjoyed snorkelling around the island. The house reefs were in good condition with countless species of fishes. We were lucky enough to see a shark of around 1.5m long and a very big sea turtle. The experience was very memorable for us. The setting of all facilities was nicely designed. The beauty of nature was embraced and celebrated by the architecture. The staff was all very friendly, helpful and conscience of your needs. The only downside to us is the limited choice of food and the high price compared to the quality. Other than that everything is perfect. One side note: we were disappointed by the behaviours some of the guests. They stepped on the coral reefs outside our deck for half an hour. Not only did their act damage the reefs, our privacy was also infringed. We also saw garbage like cans and bottles (believed to be from some of the villa) floating on the ocean. It was sad to see these irresponsible acts that destroyed the paradise!

This resort and the people working there are amazing. I could ask for the moon at 2am and they would’ve found a way to get it to me. The people, the food the service is out of this world. You get what you pay for, this place is pricy but you will get all your money’s worth.

Perfect.

Wow. My wife and i travel alot... but this was special one. We take room 228 with pvt pool and view to the ocean. It was perfect vacation. The crew was amazing, ALL of them was super nice and kind... I don’t remember all the names but sanji from the pool was great! The breakfast was great too, and chef faruk was so kind with a pvt service! In the gym was a great trainer, the Russian dj was superrr good!!! The location and the people makes it on ot the best. ALL my friends see the pics and crazyy to go there too! My wife was super happy.... (happy wife happy life!) I give W 10 from 10. Perfect.

Good services ., staff is friendly , food is fine not the best, love the good environment n pretty quiet! Love the arrangement of the departure as out flight is late nite they have late check out ! Will definitely go again
