"The address of the hotel was wrong on the Hotels.com web site. After an anxious hour or so our host was kind enough to come and get us, we were on foot walking the Via Francigena and the additional 4 miles back would have been a killer. Our host arranged for a cab the next morning so we were back on schedule. Worth the cab expense to keep on schedule. Wonderful evening meal and a great hotel. I would visit it again."

"L'appartement est très grand (rez-de-chaussée d'une maison) et aménagé avec bcp de goût. Tout etait fournis à l'arrivée : linges de lit, serviettes de toilette, liquide vaisselle, éponge et torchons. L'accueil des propriétaires etaient chaleureux et leurs conseils bienvenus. Chien, chat, tortues nous ont réservés un acceuil amical. Le jardin est très grand, idéal lorsqu'on a des enfants. La piscine est un avantage non négligeable au vu des températures très élevées. "We needed a place to stay that was convenient to return our rental car as well as catch the train to Rome and this place delivered. It was easy to find and check in to. It was clean, well appointed and practically brand new. There is a small grocery store and a few restaurants near by. We also found a bus up to the top of Orvieto conveniently located a block away. That allowed us to go explore a bit before returning home, getting a good nights sleep and walking to the train station. If you’re...

Top Ficulle Hotel Reviews

Palazzo Piccolomini

8/10 Good

"Place was wonderful. Staff was great, especially Jude. Great space, loved the bar, great breakfast. The rooms are a bit dated and in need of a refresh. It really distracted from a hotel that deserves to be 5 stars"

Torre Collevento Luxury Villa

10/10 Excellent

"This is an amazing Villa set a short distance, 10 min, by Taxi or bus outside of Orvieto. Erica, the hostess, is amazing and very welcoming. We enjoyed wine on the outside deck with incredible views of Orvieto. Erica also prepared a wonderful dinner in the evening, which I would highly recommend. The Villa’s rooms were beautifully decorated and luxurious. I would have loved to have stayed longer and plan to return."

Fonteverde Thermal Spa Resort Tuscany

10/10 Excellent

"We travel a lot and this was our favorite hotel ever!! Natural hot springs designed into a luxurious set of pools with jets, waterfalls, and even poolside bistrot! The breakfast was the best European hot breakfast we’ve ever had as well. The rooms were beautiful too."

La Casella

8/10 Good

"We had a wonderful stay. Everything was excellent: the accommodations, the atmosphere, and especially the people, who were incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout our visit. The only issue was finding the property. To be fair, La Casella provided very clear directions and specifically advised us not to rely on GPS. Unfortunately, we decided to follow the GPS anyway and ended up lost on a very difficult road in the middle of nowhere. My advice to future guests: carefully follow the instructions provided by La Casella and do not rely solely on your GPS. If you do, your arrival will be much easier than ours! Other than that, our experience was fantastic, and we would gladly stay here again."
