"Room had all new bathroom fixtures. Touch screen mirror, that defrost and makeup lighting. Everything worked just fine for the price. Shower was new and nice. New roofing, solar and room was a really nice, vaulted celling and freshly painted. Dog friendly too."

"This was perfect for a quick stay! The motel is very clean, I had 0 issues with my room. The building is well-maintained, and the area is great. The woman who works at the front desk is extremely friendly. I had breakfast delivered two days in a row, and she always had it at the counter waiting for me with a big smile and a good morning. I would definitely stay here again!"

"Hotel Sutter has a great central location in the little town. Just keep your car parked and walk. The staff were welcoming, friendly and accommodating, especially Jessica."

"Really enjoyed our stay at this historic hotel. The history behind it is very fascinating and the decorations went along with that. The front staff Carrie was so super friendly if we are ever in Placerville, we would stay here again."

"Everything was good. Breakfast was better than we thought it would be. If we had one complaint, it would be that the “suites” are not suites in our opinion. When it’s advertised as “separate bedroom” we felt that description implied more than what it actually was, which to us, it was just a deluxe King size room, not “suite” or “separate”. Would definitely stay here again though."
