This is a unique two bedroom, dog friendly cottage situated on The Bay holiday complex. The ground floor provides an open plan family living, dining and kitchen area along with a cloakroom and entrance hall. The contemporary styled living area features an electric "log-burner" stove and gliding bi-fold patio door, opening onto a paved patio area. A brick-built barbecue and wooden patio furniture provide the ultimate alfresco dining experience. Free high-speed fibre broadband WI-FI provided.

Filey Bay weekend

Lovely little property, very clean. It had everything we needed and was ideally positioned for us to explore Filey, Scarborough, Bridlington and Flamborough. The kids loved their time there, feeding the ducks outside of the property went down a treat.

Wonderful short break

Fabulous, cosy stay at the Beachcomber. Far better than we expected and at a brilliant price. We couldn’t believe our luck for a last minute short stay! We couldn’t fault the property. Hope to visit again ☺️

Relaxing retreat

Lovely ,well maintained house, all you need for a relaxing break away ,loved the fire so easy to use and looks and sounds like a real log burner without the hassle, can’t wait to stay again would highly recommend .

Great location, very clean property comfortable beds and nice peaceful holiday village used the local swimming pool and pub hoth brilliant. Nigel communicated all information to us we would definitely stay again. Thank you for a lovely holiday

Brilliant holiday village

Loved the setting, close to the beach, holiday village is brilliant with everything you could ask for and not too far from Scarborough if you fancy a visit . Beds at the house were really uncomfortable but other than that the stay was great and Nigel the host could not have done more for us.

We had another great stay at The Bay Filey. First time in Nigel’s house but hopefully not the last. Nigel is a fantastic host and his house was everything we needed for a weekend away. Perfect location with all the amenities you need.

Lovely accommodation and site

We enjoyed our recent stay. Property was very smartly presented and clean. We were there with our 3 year old grandson who enjoyed cycling around the site . Easy access to the beach and we found the little playground on our last morning there Considering booking again for next year , now we know the accommodation is high standard

Lovely property

The property as everything you need from appliances to children's toys, perfect location like a home from home. The only downside was the cleanliness wasn't how it normally is e.g dishwasher was still full from previous guests, dog hairs on sofas and on living room floor didn't really want to get hoover and start cleaning on day one of my stay.

weekend at the Bay

We had the pleasure of staying here this weekend and whilst it wasn't a completely relaxing time for all, the kids were in a swimming gala, the location and property were spot on. Great communication from Vrbo and from the owner. The offer a later checkout was greatly appreciated. Our only slightly negative comment would come from my wife who struggled a little to get shampoo out of her hair due to the power of the shower. Otherwise amazing property and will definitely look to book again if we are visiting the Filey area. Cheers Nigel

Fabulous Corrage!

We stayed at Beachcomber Cortage for a post Christmas break with our 2 grown up children and our little puppy. The cottage is beautiful, spotlessly clean throughout with all the facilities you couple possibly need. The added surprise of the Christmas tree made our stay feel more personal and we loved the little touch of the welcome pack. We will definitely be staying again!!

Last minute, short break…..

The cottage exceeded expectations and was bigger than the photographs perceived. Very clean with everything you need for that ‘home from home’ experience. Fantastic facilities on site and only 5 minutes walk onto the beach! Nigel was extremely helpful with all queries we had prior to booking - would definitely stay again if we returned to Filey I can imagine it’s even better in warmer weather ! Thank you 😊

Stayed in the cottage for many years always have the same positive experience. Since upgrading to a smart TV which is useful sadly the kids can no longer play on the Wii as there is no connection point . However still no faults and amazing holiday home.

Mini Break

Lovely stay in a lovely property just a short walk to the beach. The holiday village was very clean and easy to get around. Short drive to the Piebald Inn where you can choose for an endless menu of pies.

Loved beachcomber holiday home it was spotlessly clean and very spacious would definitely stop there again ps just one problem couldn’t locate the safe key box we were looking for for a while thinking it should be near door back or front of property but we discovered it was in the barbecue area so took us a while but got in Thanks Paul

Wonderful short stay at this beautiful cottage!

We had a wonderful short stay at this beautiful cottage! The attention to detail throughout the property is excellent. The location is fantastic, especially for our dog, with the beach just a short walk away and a lovely, easy walk into Filey. The welcome pack was a lovely touch, and the beds were comfortable, ensuring a restful sleep. The kitchen was well-stocked, making it easy to prepare meals during our stay. Communication with the host was excellent – Nigel was incredibly responsive and helpful. We will definitely be coming back!
