Perfect family holiday house
For us a family of 4 (soon to be 5), the house was great for us. Plenty of room and child friendly.
The location was brilliant, as right next door to all the leisure facilities and the pub, as well as a fairly close to the end near to the beach.
We will definitely look to book again at some point in the future!

Good short break
This property is in a very good location at The Bay, being af the heart of the village. Beds were comfortable and I liked that there were enough small tables in the lounge so everyone had somewhere to put their drink when watching the large TV. Good value for money and I would stay again.

Good Position
Great position ,close to the on-site amenities ,but everyone passing looks in the bay window, blinds would be nice .The main bedroom is nicely furnished and the bed was comfortable
The cottage and decor felt somewhat basic and tired compared with other cottages we have stayed in
Sofas are small and uncomfortable and the outdoor patio table is so weathered the moss is grained in .You could not sit on them for fear of staining your clothes, which was a shame as I chose it as the patio was a decent size extending onto a nice grassed area
These are my personal views ,I did read some very +ve reviews other guests had written in a guest book in the cottage

Perfect Holiday Cottage
We Enjoyed our stay. The house is lovely house and had everything you need to make a comfortable stay. The central location was very convenient for us.
Me, my partner and our two children stayed here for 6 nights and loved it. It was in perfect distance from all the shops, pub, beach.Perfect sized bedrooms, 2 toilets and a large outdoor area for our football mad son. There was a brilliant farm called Playdale only a 15minute drive away, Filey Beach a 5 minute drive away with arcades and other activities to do and also the beach you could walk to from your home. The childrens favourite part was definitely the swimming pool!
The holiday home was wonderfully decorated, clean and had anything you could ever need. It is very close to the nice pub and swimming pool, but still quiet in the evening. It's a 10 minute walk to the beach. We enjoyed our stay very much. There were 5 of us (3 adults , 2 children) and that worked very well within the space.

perfect location
Newt's place is an ideal location, its near the beach, swimming pool and pub. We love to walk into Filey on the beach, the only problem is the steep hill from the beach back to the site but there are a few benches to stop and look at the views.
Scarborough and Bridlington are not too far away.
Perfect for the areas we planned to visit.
Newts Place had everything you could need , extras too .
Let down by cleaners to be honest but mustn’t blame the hosts .
Only thing we would have liked to be aware of was that it was on the Main Street and felt like living in a goldfish bowl.
The property is in a great location, close to the pool and pub and just a short walk to the beach. The house is a very good sized 2 bedroom, plenty of room for our family of 4. The kitchen was well stocked although no tea towels. The smart TV had Netflix preinetslled which was perfect for a movie night.
All in all a great place to stay. I'm sure we will book again.

A well located, well equipped property
The property is clean and well equipped with everything you could need for a holiday and we enjoyed our short break. The cottage is ideally located close to the pub, cafe and pool. I would say the only downside was the fact that due to the central location a lot of people walked past the property and stared in the front bay window which I found annoying. I would suggest perhaps blinds would help - but perhaps it’s just me.

One word: Excellent!
We truly enjoyed our stay at 27 Sunrise Drive. We have stayed several times in the past and found everything was to our needs and satisfaction.
The house is comfortable, cosy, spotlessly clean and you are surrounded by all amenities. I cannot find one negative with this accommodation.
Anthony was there to help when we needed him and our little problem was resolved straight away.
Thanks for a wonderful few days. We will be back!
Teresa
The beach house was equipped with everything you could possibly need for a perfect stay.
A nice stroll to enjoy the beach or just to enjoy Filey bay views. An excellent location and good base to visit all surrounding areas easily.
A lovely place to stay. A quiet spot close to the beach, and a great base for exploring further.
Cottage just lovely with a well equipped kitchen and comfy rooms.
Would definitely recommend.

Good location
We stayed with our family at the property and we had a wonderful time as it was a wonderful location to visit all the Yorkshire coast. The downside of the property was that when I tried to contact the owner and there representative I got no response from them to a request about a broken clothing stand we found damaged.also the seating and table outside was not very good we had to clean the table and chairs before we were able to use as the area looked like it was never cleaned and neglected

Disappointed
The cleanliness was a massive issue. The property had everything we needed but everything was dirty. The only thing the cleaner had done was put clean sheets on and towels.
We had no dishcloths scourers kitchen roll or even bin liners( the bin had decaying debris at the bottom and smelled vile as did the hoover when I tried to clean the place on arriving.the drawers had to be cleaned before I could put our clothes in ( I only had baby wipes at this point ) hairs sand and sticky stuff in them!
The upstairs toilet hadn’t even been flushed 🤢🤢🤢🤢
There was dried yogurt all over a dining chair, the cutlery drawer was full of dirt and crumbs as was the fridge. There were pots left draining on a throughly disgusting draining board, marmalade stuck to the coffee canister and all the work tops , windowsills had never been wiped for weeks. The bbq was unusable as was the outside furniture, dirty and covered in bird lime . I could go on!
Zero cleaning ,zero checks before arrival. I called the housekeeper to let her know and invited her to see for herself. She came the next morning to give me the dishcloths etc. and told me she had words with the cleaner but that didn’t help the situation of arriving to a utterly disgusting house. We have stayed at the Bay in another property and it was immaculate. Hugely disappointed. The holiday village it’s self is fabulous though. Shame the owner doesn’t do final checks before the guests arrive.
Such a great location for a young family, with super easy access to the beach, swimming pool and little shop. A lovely spacious house which caters well for families. The kitchen was really well equipped with everything you need. The only things which would have improved the house would be a better washing machine which for us is essential with an active toddler. Other than that, it was spot on and would love to book again.
A lovely relaxing stay at The Bay, Filey. Handy shop, leisure centre and pub on site but also convenient for local attractions like Flamborough Head and Bempton Cliffs
