Stunning 2 bed coastal cottage - Pool and Beach Access Included.

  • Welcome to The Filey House (the affectionate family name for the house of the owners) - a lovely 2 bedroom cosy Coastal Cottage - part of The Bay Filey Holiday Village.

    Enter into the airy hallway with storage for all your essentials and access to the downstairs cloak / WC.

    Walk through into the large open plan L shaped lounge with luxury corner sofa, SMART TV, dining room (sits 5) and fully fitted kitchen including dishwasher, washer/dryer etc.

    Upstairs the property comprises of 1 double bedroom and 1 "kids room" with 3 single beds as twin and one bunk over. There is also a large family bathroom complete with bath and overhead rainfall shower.

    Off the lounge area are French doors open onto a private furnished patio and BBQ, surrounded by large, shared garden and landscaped grounds.

    Travel Cot and High Chair are available for use free of charge (own bedding required).

    We leave a few games for our guests to use. This warm and cosy house is ideal for breaks all year round.

    This property is part of The Bay Holiday Village and all bookings gain direct beach access, unlimited use of The Bay Filey Indoor Pool, Baby Pool, Sauna, Steam Room and Gym. Some amenities are chargeable locally like food and drink, tennis and any activities operated by Away Resorts such as Archery and Crafts.

    The owners (John, Pam and Family) look forward to you staying in their cottage.

Good Location - pub & gym handy !

Second visit to the Bay Filey ( different house ) We choose this location for its convenience to our relatives in the area. On arrival we noticed the kitchen area and the entrance area hadn’t been cleaned to the standard we had in the previous house. In the kitchen there were food stains on the microwave and the front of the oven and milk stains in the fridge. In the entrance there was a quantity of sand left from previous guests. We spent our first hour cleaning. The lounge area was very comfortable and great for relaxing in the evening in front of a giant TV. The bed we found quite small ( but we are used to a king size ). We ran out of hot water on the 3rd or 4th day but the customer service was excellent- arrived and fixed after phone call within 10 mins - couldn’t fault. Have to add the whole estate was lovely and quiet with no noise even though it was busy for Race the Waves. All in all we would return but maybe to another property on site …

Best family holiday! Highly recommended. Everyone enjoyed themselves so much.

A family of 5. 3 teenagers. Normally I need to cook to save some costs .I had everything we needed in the kitchen. The place was immaculately clean with a gorgeous internal design. Felt home instantly. Great communication when needed to find things. Your enjoyment is promised. We will certainly return!
